As the Chief Medical Officer of Integrative Pain Institute Dr. Verma develops comprehensive programs and medical protocols to address and treat the inflammation and injuries that cause pain. Dr. Verma’s expertise and training allows Integrative Pain Institute to offer effective treatments for spine, joint, muscle, tendon, and nerve conditions suffered by men and women of Dallas. By creating safe protocols and teaching the clinical team Dr. Verma instils values of integrity, professionalism, excellence, and commitment to the practice so that patients reach their optimal health.
As a Pain Management and Sports Medicine Physician, Dr. Verma utilizes various imaging studies, astute physical examinations, and ultrasound guided procedures to accurately diagnose and treat pain and injuries. Using telemedicine, Dr. Verma’s focus is to provide comprehensive care to patients in order to identify and manage the root cause of pain. This includes a combination of medications, injections, and physical therapy that is provided in a team environment alongside Chiropractors, Spine Surgeons, Interventional Pain Specialists, and Primary Care Physicians.
In 2019 Dr. Verma attended a Harvard Medical School accredited CME Course "Sports Medicine 2019”. The program agenda was to provide State-of-the-Art Approaches to Optimize the Diagnosis, Treatment, Rehabilitation, and Prevention of Sports Injuries. Dr. Verma also participated in a limited availability workshop to update his knowledge of Ultrasound and the most recent advances in Regenerative Medicine guided by leading experts from Harvard Medical School as well as from the following Boston’s professional sports teams: Boston Red Sox, Boston Bruins, New England Revolution and New England Patriots. Dr. Verma looks forward to better serving the community of patients with active lifestyles, weekend warriors, and elite athletes and being at the forefront of Regenerative Medicine.
Dr. Verma has 10+ years experience practicing Emergency Medicine, Pain and Injury Management. Dr. Verma has also been teaching medicine to young physicians for most of his career as he is also Adjunct Clinical Professor of Family Medicine for McMaster University. Dr. Verma is able to offer advanced treatment plans that can help patients suffering find immediate and long lasting pain relief. Dr. Verma’s goal is to safely return the injured individual, worker, or athlete, back to his or her prior level of function, productivity, or performance. Dr. Verma is a trustworthy physician that practices evidence-based medicine and is committed to attaining successful outcomes in his patients.

Stacey L. Maddox, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) dedicated to providing holistic, evidence-based care across the lifespan at North Texas Internal Medicine Specialists in Plano, Texas. With over a decade of experience as a registered nurse in diverse clinical settings—including burn intensive care, wound care, and COVID-specific medical-surgical units—Stacey brings a deep understanding of acute and chronic care management to her practice.
She earned her Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner from The University of Texas at Arlington, where she also completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Stacey’s clinical training included 720 hours of hands-on experience in family primary care, solidifying her commitment to preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and patient education.
Stacey’s extensive RN background includes leadership roles as a charge nurse and preceptor in the Burn ICU at Parkland Hospital and specialized wound care experience at Lifecare Hospital of Dallas and Texas Health Resources. She is certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and holds active licensure as an APRN and RN in the state of Texas.
