I am a foreign educated physician who practice primary care medicine in Cuba for over 10 years. Jose Mendez, DO, has over twenty years of experience as a physician practicing in various settings, including dermatology, dermatologic surgery, wound care, critical care, primary care, and medical research. He applies his extensive experience at Dermatology Consultants P.A. in Miramar and Hialeah, Florida. Dr. Mendez has over thirteen years of experience in general dermatology and specializes in Mohs surgery.

Dr. Mendez served as a voluntary Assistant Professor of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He has also served as a Clinical Professor for Internal Medicine and Dermatology with the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and Clinical Professor for the Department of Dermatology Nova Southeastern University.
