Ms. Wright has been a Parker County resident since 2019 and a nurse for 20+ years. She grew up with an extraordinary passion of caring for others. Robert A. Bauer Jr., MSN, APRN, FNP-C joins BBC Health from Montrose, Michigan where he enjoyed spending his childhood. Fueled by a desire to serve others, Robert attended Michigan State University where he earned his Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing. Following graduation, Robert accepted a commission as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Air Force. His first duty station was in Minot, North Dakota where he served in a variety of humanitarian missions and obtained the rank of First Lieutenant. Upon achieving selection for training, Robert earned his Master’s Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Clarkson College in Omaha, Nebraska. From there, he was stationed at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas where he served for many years. As a part of the 52^nd Airlift Squadron, his duties were varied with a focus on Aerospace Medicine. Through hard work and commitment, Robert proceeded to obtain the rank of Captain and served with distinction until December 2002.

After serving his country, Robert began working as a Primary Care Provider in Family Practice, Emergency Medicine, Physical Medicine, Urgent Care, and Alternative Medicine facilities. She is a proud native of Plano, Texas where she graduated from Plano Senior High School in 1988. Dr. Monica Ramirez is a Dallas native who has just completed her residency at UT Health San Antonio.  She is excited to be back in Dallas and thrilled to be joining Southwest Family Medicine Associates. 

Dr. Ramirez pursued Family Medicine as it allows her to form trusting and long-lasting relationships with patients and their family members. She is a strong believer of the “whole person” approach which is at the heart of family medicine and an advocate of education and preventive medicine.

Dr. Ebere Israel Azubuike, MD ("Dr. Izzy"), is a family doctor serving patients of all ages at Mercy Family Clinic in Dallas, Texas. He has about 15 years of experience, and he specializes in primary care and family medicine. 

Dr. Izzy Azubuike graduated from the University of Texas Medical Branch School of Medicine in Galveston, Texas, in 2005. He completed his residency at the Methodist Health System Dallas, Texas, in 2008.

After finishing his formal education, Dr. Azubuike started initially as a hospitalist, seeing patients at various hospitals in Dallas area.
