She has more than 20 years experience in the medical field, beginning her career as a phlebotomist and has continued to work her way through the progression of CNA, LVN, ADN RN, BSN RN, MSN RN, MSN APRN FNP-C, and finally, she received her DNP from TCU in May 2020 with honors. She has worked in med surg, cath lab, cardiac and neuro units, emergency department, and as a Family Nurse Practitioner for the past 4 years. She is a resident of Burleson. Bryan Weddle, DC, is chiropractor who has been helping people heal from musculoskeletal injuries for over 21 years. Dr. Weddle specializes in the active release technique at Liberty HealthCare, with offices in Grapevine, Mesquite, and Plano, Texas. 

Dr. Weddle received his doctorate in chiropractic at Parker University in 1995. He is certified in the active release technique, which uses non-invasive methods to treat soft tissue and overuse injuries. While Dr. Weddle utilizes several different methods to ease pain, he is especially skilled in performing spinal manipulation under anesthesia.

At Liberty HealthCare, Dr. Weddle has extensive training and experience in rehabilitation involving the hand, elbow, spine, shoulder, knee, and foot. He can provide cervical and lumbar disc decompression, as well as chiropractic care for nerve impingement injuries, herniated discs, and sciatica.

Janet Strait, FNP-BC, is a family nurse practitioner who specializes in occupational medicine and auto accident injuries at Liberty HealthCare. Janet enjoys working with patients in Grapevine, Mesquite, and Plano, Texas, and delivering them the thoughtful care they deserve. 

Janet has been working in the healthcare industry since 1973. She received both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from Texas Woman’s University. After graduating, she went on to teach nursing at Texas Christian University. She then completed her nurse practitioner program at The University of Texas at Arlington. 

At Liberty HealthCare, Janet is driven to provide exceptional care for her patients. With her warm and welcoming bedside manner, she offers patients the individualized attention they require to heal and recover well.

Saba Shabnam, MD, FAAFP, is a board-certified family medicine physician in Grapevine, Texas, proudly serving the communities in the Dallas Fort Worth area for more than 15 years. Dr. Shabnam graduated with honors from the Dow University of Health Sciences in Karachi, Pakistan, in 1996. She moved to the United States and completed her family medicine training at the Brooklyn Hospital Center in New York City, affiliated with Weill Cornell Medical College. Through this residency, Dr. Shabnam served as chief resident. 

Post-residency, Dr. Shabnam moved to the Dallas-Fort Worth area and has been working in private practice since 2005. She works closely with specialists and physicians in other disciplines to provide her patients with the best, individualized treatment. She has special skills and interests in functional and anti-aging medicine, wellness, aesthetics, and FUE hair transplants. She is distinctive in implementing a comprehensive approach to treating simple as well as complicated illnesses. Sharan Allen, AGNP-C, is an adult-gerontology nurse practitioner and the founder of A.L.M.S Community Health Center in Grand Prairie, Texas. Sharan specializes in primary care for adults and emphasizes positive health outcomes for all of her patients, including individuals living with chronic disease.

Sharan received her associate’s degree in nursing (ADN) from Prairie State College in Chicago Heights, Illinois. She then went on to complete her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing at Walden University. 

At A.L.M.S. Community Health Center, Sharan offers compassionate, preventive care and ensures that patients receive the specialist treatments they need to manage and treat illnesses.
