I was raised in St. Louis, MO and moved to Texas with my family in 2008. I became a registered nurse over 25 years ago and worked as a cardiac and critical care nurse before moving overseas and shifting my focus to global & integrative health care. I received my Doctor of Nursing Practice degree with an emphasis in Family Practice from Texas Tech University and joined the practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner. In my spare time I enjoy being with my family and friends, traveling, water sports, reading, and all things music. Lowell Phipps, M.D. is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. God led me to be a practicing physician. I was born in Southern CA, and moved to Texas when I started high school. I have been here ever since. In my spare time, I enjoy being with my family, participating in my church and watching/playing any kind of sport. I have 6 children. I live where I work. I like to be involved with the community where my patients reside and I am interested in community affairs.

I am a Doctor of Nursing Practice and Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in primary care, weight loss management, and medical aesthetics. For 20 years, I have worked as a nurse in the emergency department which has taught me to recognize and treat a wide range of ailments. My desire to continue to help people during their time of need but also to focus more on preventative health led me to become a nurse practitioner. I strive to provide compassionate, quality, timely, and appropriate care to all patients. Conversing and connecting with patients comes naturally to me. Tara grew up in Norman, OK moving to Texas to attend Baylor University where she received her Bachelor's of Science in Nursing. Upon graduation, she worked in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Medical City Children's Hospital. Tara earned her Master's Degree in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington where she was an MSN Academic Scholar. Tara is completed her Doctorate of Nursing Practice at Duke University in 2017 graduating at the top of her class. She lives near White Rock Lake with her family. Tara is bilingual and enjoys seeing patients across the lifespan. She feels that preventive care is vital in the reduction of chronic illnesses. Tara, also, has more than 16 years experience in aesthetics. She performs cosmetic injections including Botox and dermal fillers.

Janet Strait, FNP-BC, is a family nurse practitioner who specializes in occupational medicine and auto accident injuries at Liberty HealthCare. Janet enjoys working with patients in Grapevine, Mesquite, and Plano, Texas, and delivering them the thoughtful care they deserve.
