About Our Practice

Thomas S. Ziering, MD, is a compassionate family practitioner serving patients in Morristown, New Jersey. Having practiced traditional family medicine for more than 30 years, Dr. Ziering has an exceptional career and the unique privilege and perspective of treating ALL patients and families regardless of gender identity, sexual identity, or medical issue. He has delivered more than 150 newborns in his career and many of the children he has cared for now bring their children and families to him.

Dr. Ziering graduated from Rutgers University Medical School in Newark and completed his residency at RWJ University Somerset Medical Center in 1990 where he was honored as the Top Resident Educator. Notably, he was part of the initial clinical trials as a clinical researcher for HIV illness during the HIV crisis in 1992. He is now one of the only private practices to treat and teach PrEP, PEP, and HIV care, as well as hormone therapy for men, women, and trans patients.

Sharing his wealth of knowledge and dedicated to education, Dr. Ziering lectures nationally and statewide and has been integral in teaching physician assistants, nurse practitioners, medical students, residents, physicians, and faculty at many of New Jersey’s various programs. Dr. Ziering was also the former Medical Director of LGBTQI Services for a private medical corporation from 2015-2017. Most recently he was a speaker at the New Jersey Academy of Family Medicine in the first lecture on LGBTQI Medicine for Physicians in Practice.

Dr. Ziering, whose patients endearingly refer to as Tom, has had the privilege of electives in England (Oncology), Miami, Florida (Dermatology), and Dallas, Texas (Cardiology). Having been in Medical Education, Medical Administration, Concierge Medicine and Corporate Medicine, Dr. Ziering has found his passion as a healer to be most effective in Private Practice. By not limiting patient visits to 5-10 minutes, he has found the most comfortable and most involved method of practice with a half-hour to one-hour visit, depending on health issues. In this manner, multiple medical issues and mental health issues can be addressed often in one visit. Furthermore, the ‘exam rooms’ are set up more like small living rooms with home furnishings, aromatherapy, sound soothers and artwork conducive to a calm and relaxed discussion. Tamar Cares is a Telehealth Family Medical Practice. I see both adults and pediatric patients, offering a unique combination of services. As a homeopath, I use carefully selected high-dilution substances to stimulate the body's natural healing processes. Brendan Farnand, PA, is a skilled and bright Physician Assistant specializing in Adult Primary Care at Tru Medical Management with two practice locations in the Navy Hill and Williamsburg neighborhoods of Brooklyn, New York. Using telemedicine, Brendan provides high-quality, patient-centered, adult primary care for each and every patient.

Compassionate and caring yet challenging, Anthony Freire, MA, LMHC, NCC, CCMHC, founded the Soho Center for Mental Health Counseling & Clinical Supervision in New York City and works as a licensed psychotherapist and clinical director and supervisor.

Anthony’s specialties include trauma-informed care, psychological trauma, anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder. He also provides counseling for other issues such as addiction, marriage difficulties, and relationships and organizational counseling.

Anthony earned his undergraduate and graduate degrees from New York University and completed his residency at Christ Hospital in Jersey City, New Jersey. In 2015, he received his Certificate in Advanced Clinical Practice from NYU’s School of Social Work. Raina Weyrauch, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, is a compassionate and experienced Family Nurse Practitioner at Tru Medical Management in New York, with offices in the Navy Hill and Williamsburg neighborhoods of Brooklyn. There, Dr. Weyrauch provides personalized, high-quality care to patients of all ages. 

Board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Dr. Weyrauch brings over four years of clinical experience to her role and specializes in chronic care management, HIV prevention and treatment—including PrEP—and joint health. She is certified in joint injection therapy and is currently pursuing certification to perform DOT (Department of Transportation) physicals.

Dr. Weyrauch earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from the University of North Dakota, following a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from North Dakota State University. Stephanie began her career at Reddy Care Physical Therapy 12 years ago as a physical therapy aide while also working on marketing, recruiting, human resources, and many other administrative activities. After graduating in 2015 Stephanie started her career with us as a physical therapist. As the clinical director of our Great Neck clinic, she supports a team of therapists. In her role, she ensures that clinical care is delivered to the highest standards so that patients can achieve their goals.

Dr. Eric Bayer, PT, DPT received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy with honors from Thomas Jefferson University in 2008. His Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science was earned at the University of Delaware in 2005. After graduating Physical Therapy school, he moved back home to Long Island, where started his career working in outpatient private practice. He has now been working for Reddy Care Physical Therapy for the past 8 years and has strived to advance his clinical and managerial skills. As the director of the Farmingdale office, he supports a team of 5 people. He provides guidance and monitors the performance of the physical therapists and the front desk staff as well as makes day-to-day decisions for the Farmingdale office in order to better serve the needs of our patients.

Robert Mmereole, MD, is a board-certified family practitioner offering comprehensive medical care at his practice, Mmereole Health, in West New York, New Jersey. He welcomes new and established patients whether they need care for an acute illness or management of chronic disease. His experiences in surgery, OB/GYN, family medicine, and treating patients with burns have broadened his understanding of how each patient might feel when they walk into the office.

Dr. Mmereole started his career in chemical engineering, then decided to pursue medicine at Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, DC.
