Dr. Elain Tong was born in Pasadena, CA. Her interest in medicine began at a young age, after suffering multiple ankle injuries from years of dancing classical ballet. Her injuries were successfully treated by her father (Yee-Wing Tong, MD) with NBE therapy, or Neuro-Bioenergetics treatment, a therapy he developed combining western anesthetic nerve blocks and trigger point injections with acupuncture and the principles of Chinese medicine. Thomas Rambacher, DPM, FACFAS, FAPWCA, is a double board-certified surgeon and wound doctor at Foot Ankle Leg Wound Care Orange County in Mission Viejo, California. He is one of the few wound care specialists and podiatrists in the region who specializes in orthoplastics (flap reconstruction), limb salvage, and highly specialized wound care.

Dr. Rambacher received his degree in podiatric medicine from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Independence, Ohio, now called the Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine (KSUCPM).
