Hitesh Patel, MD is a board-certified physician specializing in internal medicine and obesity medicine. He provides expert, compassionate primary care at Premier Healthcare Associates, PC, conveniently located in a state-of-the-art facility near Ocean University Medical Center (OUMC), part of Hackensack Meridian Health, in Brick, New Jersey. 

Dr. Patel offers a wide range of services, including the diagnosis and management of chronic conditions such as thyroid disorders, heart disease, diabetes, COPD, and mental health conditions. Marzena Villacorta, APN, is a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner who provides comprehensive primary care at Princeton Sports and Family Medicine, P.C. She brings extensive and diverse clinical experience, having worked across multiple specialties. Her broad background allows her to care for patients with a wide range of acute and chronic health needs.   Marzena completed her advanced practice nursing education at Wilkes University in Pennsylvania, where she received specialized training in adult and geriatric primary care. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, she practiced for many years as a registered nurse in high-acuity settings and community-based environments. She is also an Immunoglobulin Certified Nurse and a Medical-Surgical Certified Nurse, and holds multiple additional certifications that support her comprehensive clinical practice, including IVIG therapy, wound care, preventive health, and certification as a Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical Examiner through the FMCSA National Registry.   Her clinical interests include preventive health, chronic disease management, women’s health, mental health, geriatrics, wellness and lifestyle medicine, infusion therapy, and occupational health services, including DOT physical examinations for commercial drivers. Lemuel Figueroa, DO, CAQSM, is a board-certified family medicine and sports medicine physician at Princeton Sports and Family Medicine, P.C., in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. He specializes in the evaluation and non-operative management of musculoskeletal injuries and sports-related conditions in athletes and active individuals of all ages.

Dr. Figueroa earned his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Central Connecticut State University, where he developed a strong foundation in injury prevention, rehabilitation, and on-field care. He went on to earn his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine, followed by residency training in family medicine at Rowan University SOM.

 He then completed a fellowship in sports medicine at Atlantic Health Sports Medicine in Morristown, New Jersey, during which he worked directly with the New York Jets medical staff.

Dr. Figueroa is passionate about working with athletes and active individuals of all ages, from youth and high-school athletes to weekend warriors and professionals. Chelsea Saltzman, RD, LDN is committed to helping patients navigate nutrition with confidence through practical, evidence-based care. As a Registered Dietitian at Princeton Sports and Family Medicine, she takes a collaborative approach with patients and the interdisciplinary care team to support each persons unique health goals. At the core of her practice is the belief that nutrition shouldn't make life more difficult, but instead be a practice in nourishment and self-care.

Chelsea earned her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition & Foods from Drexel University where she spent time as a research assistant at the University of Pennsylvania, and completed her dietetic internship with Morrison Healthcare.

Her professional background spans community nutrition, clinical care, private practice, and food entrepreneurship, giving her a unique perspective on the many ways people experience food and health. She began her career working in nonprofit nutrition programs providing nutrition education in schools, assisting food banks, and supporting food program initiatives through the NJ Department of Agriculture. Since shifting into a clinical setting, she has provided medical nutrition therapy to children, adolescents, adults, and older adults with diverse needs, including weight management, sports performance, gastrointestinal conditions, eating disorders, and chronic disease. Adam Redlich, MD, is board-certified and fellowship-trained in Sports Medicine, practicing at A+ Athlete Sports Medicine. With two office locations in Robbinsville (Mercer county) and Neptune (Monmouth), New Jersey, Dr. Redlich sees patients at both offices & brings with him over 20 years of experience in the field.  

Dr. Redlich's passion is to maintain the small-town, local sports doctor approach for the region, which he has been doing since 2003 - even before he opened A+ Athlete Sports Medicine. He takes great pride in serving the community and surrounding area he calls home. 

Dr. Redlich also trained under one of the non-operative sports medicine field’s founders at Rutgers/Jersey Shore University Medical Center - Sports Medicine Fellowship, Dr. Stephen Rice, in addition to leaders in the Sports Medicine & Regenerative Medicine and Musculoskeletal Ultrasound fields – Dr. Brian Shiple and Dr. Robert Monaco.  

Education has always been of importance to Dr. Redlich. He trained at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and Crozer Keystone Healthplex Sports Medicine Institute.  During his family medicine residency at suburban Philadelphia's Crozer Keystone Health System, he acquired tremendous experience caring for athletes from local schools, weekend warriors doing marathons and triathlons, and higher level athletes at nearby Olympic Training Sites thru Healthplex Sports Medicine Institute.   Dr. Redlich remains an adjunct faculty member and volunteer clinical instructor for Rutgers - RWJ Medical School – Family Medicine, RWJBarnabas Residency – Pediatric & Adolescent Medicine, Hackensack Meridian Health – Jersey Shore University Medical Center / Ocean Medical Center – Pediatrics & Family Medicine, CentraState Medical Center – Family Medicine, Newark Beth Israel – Pediatrics & Adolescent Medicine.

Dr. Redlich lives with his family within a few minutes of his office and was born and raised in Monmouth County.  He himself enjoys being active having over the years been a coach, runner, marathoner, triathlete, golfer, weight-lifter, hiker, mountain & trail biker, cycling, spin, yoga, walker, and High Intensity Interval Training participant at various points in his life. 

Erin M. Heaslip is a board-certified music therapist and licensed social worker. She completed her master’s in music therapy from the University of Miami and has been practicing music therapy since 2011. She completed her master’s in social work in 2024 from Boston University and is licensed in New Jersey and New York. Erin offers both virtual and in person sessions in the Hoboken office.

She has experience with children with developmental disabilities and neurodiverse clients and families. She enjoys working with adults, children, and families to work through adverse experiences, life changes, those working through depression and anxiety. She is knowledgeable in women’s issues related to infertility, postpartum care and perinatal mental health.  Through a strengths perspective, she uses music and creative arts modalities, in addition to talk therapy to learn and implement positive coping strategies for improved well-being. Erin works to provide a safe environment, while maintaining a positive and supportive relationship. Through acceptance and empathy, she utilizes therapeutic interventions using psychodynamic, humanistic, and cognitive behavioral principles in her practice. Vanvian Hoo, LCSW, PsyD, is a senior clinical and psychotherapist at Hudson River Care and Counseling. Dr. Hoo works virtually. 

Vanvian brings over 20 years of experience to the practice with no signs of stopping. Currently pursuing her doctorate in psychology from Felician University in Rutherford, New Jersey, Vanvian specializes in neuropsychology and multicultural psychology. She is trained in various behavioral models, including Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT). 

After receiving her Bachelor of Science from Wagner College, Vanvian earned a master’s in Social Work from Columbia University in New York City. She works from a Strength-based Based Perspective with her patients and has an integrative approach, utilizing various evidence-based practices depending on the needs of her clients. She includes various modalities in her treatment plans, such as play therapy with children, parenting, trauma work, anxiety, depression, and relational issues with adults and adolescents. 

Vanvian also worked as a school-based mental health social worker at TSMS, a middle school located in the East Village, New York, for 13 years. She also has extensive work experience in nonprofits and hospital settings. Additionally, Vanvian has extensive knowledge working with young children and parents as a mental health consultant for a Head Start program in NYC. 

She has worked in Chinatown to mitigate and decrease the mental health stigma and deliver mental health services to the community. Vanvian is committed to addressing social injustice issues and helping clients break the transmission of intergenerational trauma. Teaching and supervising master’s level social work interns from Columbia University, Hunter College, and NYU is one of her many gratifying accomplishments. In her free time, Vanvian loves to design and create handmade greeting cards.

Dr. Hoo is licensed in both NY and NJ. She is bilingual in Cantonese and in English.

 

Betrice Thompson is a highly experienced LCSW with over 30 years of dedicated service in the field of social work, specializing in geriatric issues, such as adjustment disorder, grief and loss, hospice, depression, anxiety, and caregiver support. She has assisted families and individuals through the difficult process of selecting alternative placement and services.

Betrice passion extends to working with the faith community, particularly clergy (pastors and their families) addressing issues related to mental health challenges often not discussed in the faith community.

Betrice holds several advanced degrees including a master’s in social work from the University of Oklahoma-Norman, a master’s in education with a specialty in gerontology from the University of Central Oklahoma-Edmond. She recently obtained a double master’s in Divinity and Pastoral Care and Counseling from New Brunswick Theological Seminary, New Brunswick. She holds certificates from the National Association of Social Workers where she has been a member for several years in Clinical Social Worker Supervision and as a Certified Advanced Social Work Case Manager (C-ASWM). Betrice is the owner of Beyond Christian Counseling, a faith-based agency providing counseling services to the community.
