Heena Shyamani, MD, is a primary care physician that specializes in internal medicine services at Shah Medical Center in Elgin, Illinois. Jocelin Gamez, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant at Michigan Avenue Primary Care, a multispecialty practice located in The Loop of downtown Chicago, Illinois.

Jocelin earned her Bachelor of Science in biology with a minor in psychology at the University of Illinois at Chicago. During her undergraduate years, she simultaneously worked as a certified pharmacy technician and certified emergency medical technician. Anne-Sophie Kim, MD, is a dedicated primary care physician at Michigan Avenue Primary Care located in The Loop of downtown Chicago, Illinois. She is committed to patient-centered medicine and provides comprehensive and preventative primary care.

Dr. Barrett attended Virginia Tech for his undergraduate degree, studying biochemistry. He earned his medical degree at Eastern Virginia Medical School and completed his residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago. 

Dr. Barrett’s treatment philosophy is one of empowering the patient: “Patients have the right to be heard and to partner with me to create a treatment plan appropriate for their individual needs and situation”.  His clinical interests are primary care, preventative medicine and LGBT health.
