Heena Shyamani, MD, is a primary care physician that specializes in internal medicine services at Shah Medical Center in Elgin, Illinois. Jocelin Gamez, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant at Michigan Avenue Primary Care, a multispecialty practice located in The Loop of downtown Chicago, Illinois.
Jocelin earned her Bachelor of Science in biology with a minor in psychology at the University of Illinois at Chicago. During her undergraduate years, she simultaneously worked as a certified pharmacy technician and certified emergency medical technician. She then earned her Master of Science in physician assistant studies at the University of Iowa (Go Hawkeyes!). Her interests include women’s health, providing healthcare to Spanish-speaking populations, and preventative medicine.
