Laura April Gago, MD, is a board-certified reproductive endocrinologist and infertility
specialist, as well as the medical director of Gago Center for Fertility, serving the
Midwest.

After graduating from medical school at the University of California at San Diego, Dr.
Gago returned to Ann Arbor to complete her obstetrics and gynecology residency at
the University of Michigan.

Following her residency, Dr. Gago went on to complete a fellowship at Wayne State
University in Detroit, a three year fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and
infertility there she ultimately accepted an assistant clinical professor position. Just

Born and raised in Walled Lake, Michigan, she has deep roots in the local community. Dr. O'Shell earned her bachelor's degree in human biology from Michigan State University in East Lansing before obtaining her medical degree at Ross University School of Medicine in Barbados. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Providence Hospital in Southfield, Michigan.

A Michigan native, Dr. Powell has remained in her home state throughout her career. Sophie completed her Master of Science in Nurse Midwifery at Yale School of Nursing. Prior to earning her Master's degree, she received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Michigan, with a major in ecology. During her midwifery program she worked as a nurse at a freestanding birth center. She worked as a midwife in New York's Hudson Valley and Kalamazoo before returning home to southeast Michigan to provide care in 2021.

Sophie's professional interests include preventive and preconception care and perinatal education. Dr. Lee grew up with Oakland Macomb Obstetrics & Gynecology, P.C., working in the office off and on since she was in high school. Since then, she completed her undergraduate degree at the College of Wooster in Ohio, where she also played soccer. 

Dr. Lee went on to Michigan State University to pursue her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree. She completed both her internship and residency at McLaren Greater Lansing in obstetrics and gynecology.

Dr. Chae was born in South Korea and moved to Canada with her family at a young age. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Biotechnology at University of Windsor where she also received her Master of Business Administration which she completed in Rouen, France. She worked in hospital administration in Toronto before pursuing her medical degree at Wayne State University School of Medicine.

During her medical school, she was recognized for her service to the community and received the Leonard Tow Humanism in Medicine Award for her compassion in delivery of care, respect for patients and their families. She completed her residency at Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak and was active in the Michigan Section of American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Chae is passionate about women’s health and empowering women through education and advocacy. She enjoys taking care of patients at all stages of life. Her clinical interests include minimally invasive surgical techniques including robotic surgery, general and high risk obstetrics, contraception counseling and menstrual irregularities. Brandy Kennedy, CNM, is a certified nurse-midwife at Oakland Macomb Obstetrics & Gynecology, P.C., which has locations in Rochester Hills, Troy, and Lenox, Michigan. 

Brandy completed her Nurse-Midwifery program at Frontier Nursing University, earning a Master of Science in Nursing. Before becoming a certified nurse midwife, she worked as a labor and delivery nurse at Royal Oak Beaumont for 7.5 years.

Brandy spent over six years in the US Navy. During her military service, Brandy first found her love for pregnancy and birth while serving on the labor and delivery unit at Naval Medical Center San Diego, caring for military women and spouses. She also has spent four years on sea duty, serving as a member of the ship's medical team.

Outside of work, Brandy enjoys spending time with her family, watching her daughter play hockey, and being an avid Swiftie.

Elise Wallace, M.D., joined Oakland Macomb Obstetrics & Gynecology, P.C., in 2005. She is proud to provide comprehensive care to patients throughout Rochester Hills, Troy and Lenox, Michigan. 

Dr. Wallace spent her undergraduate years at Indiana University in Bloomington. She earned her medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine, graduating with honors in obstetrics and gynecology. Following medical school, she completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan. 

She is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Some of her areas of interest include high-risk pregnancies, emerging contraceptive options, perimenopausal gynecological care, infertility, and minimally invasive surgery. 

Dr. Wallace and her husband have two children who were born in 2004 and 2008; their favorite family activities include golfing, sailing, skiing, and hiking. When she gets a quiet moment, she loves to sit down with a good book.

Dr. Chami earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan before completing her medical degree at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Dhir grew up in Clarkston, Michigan. She attended Michigan State University in East Lansing for her undergraduate training, followed by West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine for her medical degree. Dr. Dhir completed her residency at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital. 

During residency, she served as Resident Education Chair and joined the Obstetric Initiative Committee, where she worked toward improvement initiatives in maternity care. Dr. Dhir received certifications in Fundamentals of Laparoscopic Surgery, as well as the da Vinci (R) Robotic System. She also had the honor of working as Chief Resident in her final year.

Sandra Morgan, M.D., is a well-respected obstetrician and gynecologist. With nearly two decades of experience, Dr. Morgan strives to provide the highest quality care to patients at Oakland Macomb Obstetrics & Gynecology, P.C., in Rochester Hills, Troy and Lenox, Michigan. 

Dr. Morgan attended Michigan State University (MSU) College of Human Medicine in East Lansing, graduating within the top ten percent of her class. She stayed at MSU to complete her residency in obstetrics and gynecology.
