Huiying Hou, MD, has been practicing as an OB/GYN at Jersey Women’s Care Center in Fair Lawn and Jersey City, New Jersey, since 2015. Dr. Sophia Lubin is a proud first-generation Haitian-American. She is a single mother of two outstanding young men, Tyler and Maxwell. Dr. Lubin is a board-certified OB/GYN and a native New Yorker.  She holds a BS in Biology from The City College of NY and obtained her medical degree from NYIT-New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. She did her OB/Gyn residency training at Beth Israel Medical Center in Manhattan, now Mount Sinai –Beth Israel. Dr. Sophia, as she likes to be called, is a committed humanitarian who has provided medical relief efforts in places like the Dominican Republic and Haiti. After the 2010 earthquake in Haiti, she was interviewed by Anderson Cooper and received a NYC Congressional Award for her work as a first responder. She continues to visit Haiti on an annual basis where she provides free OB/GYN care.
