Dr. Terkildsen earned both her undergraduate degree in psychology and neuroscience and her medical degree from Tulane University, then completed her OB/GYN residency at Northwestern University’s Prentice Women’s Hospital, where she served as administrative chief resident.

Over the years, she discovered that many women have questions about sexual health that aren’t often addressed in traditional medical care. Maureen Tart, MD, FACOG, MSCP, is a board-certified OB/GYN.  Before joining the practice in 2011, Dr. Tart practiced in Chicago for over a decade.  She served as Co-Medical Director of her group and held the role of Vice Chair of the OB/GYN department for several years.

Originally from Connecticut, Dr. Tart moved to Chicago for her residency training and has since built a career dedicated to women’s health. She earned both her undergraduate degree in psychology and her medical degree from Georgetown University before completing her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Chicago Hospitals. During her residency, she served as the academic chief resident and trained alongside Dr. Heather B. Heiberger, MD, FACOG, and Dr. Elizabeth Oh, MD, FACOG.

Based in Oak Park, Dr. Lyndon Taylor has treated many women who live in Oak Park and in the near west suburbs of Chicago. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Harvard University and her medical degree from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. She completed her specialty training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Northwestern University, where she was Chief Resident. She is now an attending physician at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.

Dr. Nash’s interests include uterine fibroids, abnormal uterine bleeding, polycystic ovarian syndrome, and menopause. She is also a breast cancer survivor and has a special interest in the care of breast cancer survivors and women at high risk of breast cancer.

Outside of work, Dr. Nash enjoys staying active and cooking with her husband and two growing boys.

Dr. Matthew King is a board-certified gynecologist.  He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign and his medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago.  He then completed his specialty training in obstetrics and gynecology here in Chicago at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center where he also served as chief resident.
 
After practicing on the east coast, Dr. King is excited to return home to Chicago and join the Progressive Care for Women team and the staff at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.  His goal as a gynecologist is to provide his patients with individualized evidence-based medical care so they can make informed healthcare decisions and take charge of their health.  
 
His clinical interests include LGBTQ+ healthcare, cervical dysplasia, family planning and contraceptive care, and the management of abnormal uterine bleeding with minimally invasive methods.  Dr. King has a special interest in gynecologic ultrasound and has previously given an oral presentation at the Central Association of Obstetricians / Gynecologists on the role of sonography in the diagnosis of retained products of conception.  In his spare time, Dr. King enjoys traveling the globe with his husband and family, reading anything from a fictional mystery to the latest Ob/Gyn journal, and running around the city.

James Hawkins, DO, is a vein specialist certified by the American Board of Venous & Lymphatic Medicine, with over 30 years of experience. At Fox Valley Vein Centers, Dr. Hawkins serves patients living in and around Sandwich, Yorkville, and Aurora, Illinois.

Dr. Hawkins was born just outside of Chicago in Evergreen Park. He earned his undergraduate degree from Benedictine College, located in Lisle, Illinois, followed by his medical degree from the Midwestern University Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Downers Grove, Illinois. Dr. Hawkins then completed his subsequent residency at the John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County, located in Chicago.

Today, Dr. Hawkins is a registered vascular technologist and a registered physician in vascular interpretation.
