Understanding the Deeper Challenges of Pelvic Health
Despite significant advancements in medical science over the past few decades, pelvic health and related disciplines remain largely underserved. Many underlying pathologies affecting pelvic health continue to be poorly understood, resulting in a detrimental impact on individuals' quality of life.
Numerous patients experience pelvic pain and pelvic floor dysfunction, yet the precise causes often elude medical professionals. This leads to frustration as patients consult multiple specialists in hopes of finding answers, often to no avail. Dr. Brodman is a member of the voluntary faculty and is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan, New York, where she remains active in ongoing medical education. When she’s not treating patients, Dr. Brodman enjoys spending time with her family and friends, exercising, hiking, and crafting.

Katharine Pelletier, MD, is an experienced, board-certified OBGYN. She joined the team of compassionate providers at OBGYN Westside, PLLC, located in the Upper West Side of New York City, and sees patients throughout the five boroughs and tri-state area.
Dr. Pelletier is a native New Yorker who is particularly interested in general pregnancy care, high-risk obstetrics, contraception, adolescent GYN, and LGBTQ+ care. She graduated from Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and completed her premedical studies at Columbia University in New York, New York, after which she received her medical degree from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine in Brooklyn.
Dr. Pelletier completed her OBGYN residency at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York, and comes to the practice with experience in private practice. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two cats, traveling, exploring new restaurants, and improving her French language skills.
