Nikole Ostrov, MD, provides comprehensive gynecology services at Symphony Medical’s Andrus location in Yonkers, New York.
Dr. Ostrov has a special interest in treating women who are experiencing pelvic pain, abnormal bleeding, and sexual disorders. She also helps patients explore their options for contraception to prevent unintended pregnancies.
Dr. Ostrov is a member of the American College of Gynecology, the International Pelvic Pain Society, and the North American Menopause Society. She is the recipient of several awards from the International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health, including the Super Doctors Rising Star award, the Top Doc 2020 award, and the Humanism in Medicine Award.
After earning a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry from the University of New Hampshire in Durham, New Hampshire, Dr. Ostrove went on to receive her medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York.
Dr. Ostrov completed a residency at Stony Brook University Hospital, and spent additional time there to become its first fellow in minimally invasive/robot-assisted gynecological surgery. She spent nearly a decade in a Manhattan private practice before joining Symphony Medical.
Adam Fechner, MD, is a double board-certified OB/GYN practicing at University Reproductive Associates in Hasbrouck Heights, Wayne, and Millburn, New Jersey. He specializes in endometriosis, recurrent pregnancy loss, uterine fibroids, in vitro fertilization, polycystic ovary syndrome, and minimally invasive reproductive surgery.
Dr. Fechner earned his bachelor’s degree at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and his Doctorate of Medicine at New Jersey Medical School in Newark, New Jersey. Dr. Pongnon completed her undergraduate degree in chemistry from New York University before receiving her medical degree from the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center. She finished her OB/GYN training at the New York Medical College Westchester Medical Center.

Dr. Rosenberg is a graduate of Weill Medical College of Cornell University. Prior to launching his private practice, he was Associate Director of the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at North Shore University Hospital, where he also served as Director of the High-Risk Pregnancy Consultative Program and Director of the Center for Thrombophilia and Adverse Outcomes in Pregnancy. He was also Assistant Professor in the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell in Hempstead.
Dr. Sophia Lubin is a proud first-generation Haitian-American. She is a single mother of two outstanding young men, Tyler and Maxwell. Dr. Lubin is a board-certified OB/GYN and a native New Yorker. She holds a BS in Biology from The City College of NY and obtained her medical degree from NYIT-New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. She did her OB/Gyn residency training at Beth Israel Medical Center in Manhattan, now Mount Sinai –Beth Israel. Dr. Sophia, as she likes to be called, is a committed humanitarian who has provided medical relief efforts in places like the Dominican Republic and Haiti. After the 2010 earthquake in Haiti, she was interviewed by Anderson Cooper and received a NYC Congressional Award for her work as a first responder. She continues to visit Haiti on an annual basis where she provides free OB/GYN care.
As a practicing OB/GYN, Dr. Lubin provides a wide range of services including but not limited to prenatal care, pap smears, sexually transmitted disease screenings, breast cancer screenings, birth control and the management of menopause. She is passionate about reproductive choice and has expertise in comprehensive family planning, including complex contraception and permanent sterilization. He heads the practice’s Bladder Dysfunction Program and has expertise in treating overactive bladder, urinary stress incontinence, and pelvic organ prolapse. Elizabeth Nadal, DO, joined the Avery Center for Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2019. She is proud to partner with women in their healthcare from the practice’s locations in Westport, Fairfield, and Norwalk, Connecticut.
Dr. Nadal completed her undergraduate studies at Boston University, where she received a Bachelor of Science. In 2014, she earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at New York College. She went on to complete her residency at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School and continued her experience with a focus on labor and delivery. Dr. Nadal also specialized in pelvic surgery and in-office procedures.
In addition to her focused research on endometrial cancer and maternal complications, Dr. Nadal received an award of Excellence in Laparoscopy during her time at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School.
