Dr. Bullard went on to obtain her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. While there, she also completed an OB/GYN residency, where she earned Resident-Teacher of the Year.

Obstetrician and gynecologist Katia Castillo, MD, brings her diverse background and passion for providing high-quality health care to Comprehensive Women’s OB/GYN, which has locations in Duluth and Dunwoody, Georgia. Dr. Castillo was born in Cartagena, Colombia, and was raised there and later in Lexington, Kentucky. She firmly believes that her diverse cultural experiences deepen her professional knowledge and ability to attract and serve a more culturally diverse client base. 

Dr. Castillo’s medical journey began with a Bachelor of Science in microbiology and a minor in chemistry from the University of Florida. Later, she received her medical degree in obstetrics and gynecology from Mercer University’s School of Medicine. She then completed her residency at the Medical Center of Central Georgia, now known as Navicent Health Medical Center, in Macon, Georgia. 

After beginning private practice in 1994, Dr. Castillo quickly emerged as a trusted source for medical care in the community she serves. She has board certifications in obstetrics and gynecology, and also in obesity medicine, and she is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Castillo primarily focuses on maintaining the best environment for women and partnering with them to manage any health concerns. Dr. Miller-Thrasher was born and raised in Harlem and is one of seven brothers and sisters. Dr. Miller-Thrasher was competitively selected to receive advanced training in a one-year clinical fellowship through the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery at the nationally-acclaimed and busiest cosmetic surgery practice in the country, Southern Surgical Arts. During her fellowship training, she focused specifically on all aspects of general cosmetic surgery and aesthetic procedures of the face, body, and breast. She assisted in the care of thousands of women and took part in more than 1,000 cosmetic surgical procedures of the face, neck, breast, and body.

Dr. Graham has been practicing obstetrics and gynecology for over 16 years in Atlanta. He attended American University in Washington, DC, St. George's University in True Blue, Grenada, and completed his residency with Mount Sinai in New York and New Jersey. Jeffrey Marcus, MS, MD, joined North Atlanta Women's Specialists when it was formed in 1994. He is proud to provide a variety of obstetrics and gynecologic services to patients at the East Cobb office in Marietta and the Johns Creek office in Duluth, Georgia. His special interests include management of high-risk pregnancies, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, contraception, and menopause care.

Originally from Rockville, Maryland, Dr. Marcus received his Bachelor of Science in physics from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. He went on to earn a master's degree in biomedical engineering from The George Washington University (GW) in Washington, DC. He remained at GW for medical school and residency. After finishing his training, in which he was a chief resident and elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society, he moved to Atlanta to begin working in private practice. 

Dr. Marcus is board certified and a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. He is a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists and the Society for Family Planning. Dr. Morris was born and raised in Denver, Colorado, and received her Bachelor of Arts in molecular, cellular, and developmental biology from the University of Colorado Boulder. She graduated from The Sackler School of Medicine New York State/American Program of Tel Aviv University and did her residency training at Mount Sinai West and Mount Sinai St. Luke’s in New York City. She was an administrative chief resident and received awards for teaching and pelvic surgery. After her residency, she remained in New York as faculty at Mount Sinai Hospital. In addition, she worked at St John’s Riverside Hospital in association with Hudson River Healthcare. 

Dr. Morris moved to Atlanta and joined North Atlanta Women’s Specialists in 2018. She is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Some of her interests include, but are not limited to, both low and high-risk obstetrics, infertility, adolescent gynecology, contraceptive management, and minimally invasive gynecological surgery. With two children conceived with IVF, she has a deep interest in infertility and helping others through their fertility journey and beyond.

Dr. Menon was born and raised in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She went to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (GO HEELS!), where she majored in psychology. She then spent a few years working in the area of property management and clinical research. She returned to UNC for medical school and earned her Master's of Public Health during this time. Dr. Menon completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at UNC.

Dr. Menon fell in love with obstetrics during medical school, and her interests include contraception, weight gain during pregnancy, and minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Donnelly earned his medical degree in 1982 from the University of Alabama School of Medicine and was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He then completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville in 1986. Afterward, he moved to Atlanta and has been a partner in the same private practice group of physicians ever since.

Dr. Donnelly's practice is currently focused on family-centered and high-risk obstetrics, well-woman care, and menopause management. She then completed her residency in general obstetrics and gynecology from Wake Forest University School of Medicine in 1998.

After holding a faculty position at the University of Tennessee-Memphis, Dr. Anand joined North Atlanta Women's Specialists in 2004 where she has been practicing general OB/GYN.  In 2020 she completed a fellowship at The Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine and enjoys empowering her patients to optimize their health and wellbeing through evidence-based integrative approaches.  She is additionally a member of the North American Menopause Society and takes a special interest in helping women transition through perimenopause and menopause.

Dr. Ali was born in Atlanta and grew up in Johns Creek, Georgia. She received her undergraduate degree in Genetics from the University of Georgia (GO DAWGS!). She attended medical school at the Medical College of Georgia where she received awards for exemplary patient care. She then completed her residency in OB/GYN at Emory University.

During her training, Dr. Ali served as chief administrative resident and was involved in advocacy work through the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She received awards for her commitment to teaching and improving women’s reproductive health.

Dr. Ali’s clinical interests include patient education, both low- and high-risk obstetrics, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery (including robotic surgery), and contraception management.

Outside of work, Dr. Ali enjoys trying new restaurants, traveling, hiking, and spending time with friends and family.

Ngozi Monu, MD, PhD, is excited to be a part of North Atlanta Women’s Specialists and considers it a great privilege to provide excellent care and full spectrum obstetrics and gynecology to women in all stages of life. She values establishing long-term relationships with her patients and sees patients at the Johns Creek office in Duluth and Northside, Georgia, and the Midtown office in Atlanta, Georgia. 

Dr. Monu received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Howard University in Washington, D.C. She went on to obtain a PhD degree from New York University (NYU) in the field of Cell Biology with research focused on Cellular Immunology and Cancer Immunotherapy and then completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Cancer Institute, NYU School of Medicine. 

Dr. Monu decided to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming a physician and attended medical school at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City. She stayed on at New York Presbyterian, Weill Cornell Medicine for her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency training, where she was education chief resident and received awards for teaching and research. 

Dr. Monu enjoys the broad range of obstetrics and gynecology, and some of her areas of interest include but are not limited to, minimally invasive gynecological surgery (including robotic surgery), both low- and high-risk obstetrics care, contraceptive management, adolescent gynecology, and patient education. She also continues to be interested in research that furthers the field in providing evidence-based obstetric and gynecological care to women.

Dr. Monu has been an avid athlete her entire life. She participated in two Olympic Games, representing Nigeria at the 2000 Sydney Olympics and at the 2008 Beijing Olympics in the sport of swimming. Anushka Magal, MD, is excited to join North Atlanta Women’s Specialists. She is grateful for the opportunity to provide full spectrum obstetrics and gynecology care for patients at the Northside and Midtown offices in Atlanta and Johns Creek office in Duluth, Georgia.

Dr. Magal grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She received her undergraduate degree in anthropology from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and her master’s degree in biomedical sciences from Tufts University. She graduated from Wayne State University School of Medicine with her medical degree and completed her residency training in OB/GYN at Central Michigan University.
