Dr. Eckert graduated from Hazleton High School in Hazleton, Pennsylvania, before earning her Bachelor of Science in biology from King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. During her internship at City Avenue Hospital, Dr. Eckert was named the Intern of the Year. Dr. Cisek started out in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, graduating from Gwynedd Mercy High School in Gwynedd Valley, Pennsylvania. She pursued her Bachelor of Science in neuroscience from the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Cisek then traveled to Philadelphia to earn her medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her OB/GYN residency program at St. Luke’s Hospital in Allentown and Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. She later obtained both her Bachelors of Science in Nursing and her Masters in Midwifery from Columbia University. Alina Fuchs MD MBS BS has obstetrics and gynecology and medicine in her genes. Her aunt Dr. Smekuna was the delivering OB/Gyn with her birth. Her uncle Dr. M Fuks and Dr. A. Fuks are both practicing physicians, her mother Dr. M Fuchs is a dentist. And her husband Dr. Alexeev is a current pain management fellow.
