Dr. Dreizen completed his undergraduate studies summa cum laude earning a Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston University. He graduated summa cum laude from Boston University Medical School, and completed his Ophthalmology residency at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia. After two years of fellowship training at Emory University in Atlanta, he spent two years as Assistant Professor at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. Dr. Dreizen joined Southern Shores Eye Center, P.A. (formerly Erickson, Dreizen & Lee Eye Center, P.A.) in 1988. Robert E. Lee III, M.D.

Ashwinee Ragam, MD is board-certified and a corneal fellowship-trained ophthalmologist.

Dr. Ragam graduated summa cum laude from The College of New Jersey. She was accepted to the competitive, accelerated, seven-year BS/MD program at the Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, where she finished at the top of her class and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She then completed an ophthalmology residency as well as corneal subspecialty fellowship at the prestigious New York Eye and Ear Infirmary in New York City. She was selected by her peers and mentors to become Chief Resident. 

Both Dr. Ragam and her husband, an orthopaedic hand surgeon, are New Jersey natives and looked forward to returning home after training to grow their practices and raise their two sons.

Dr. Ragam performs cataract surgery, corneal procedures including full and partial-thickness (DMEK, DSEK) corneal transplantation, as well as pterygium excision. She is the first ophthalmologist in Ocean County to perform FDA-approved corneal collagen crosslinking for progressive keratoconus and post-LASIK ectasia.

Dr. Gloth graduated summa cum laude from Rutgers University in New Jersey. He also received the Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence (awarded to students with a 4.0 grade-point average).
