Robert E. Lee III, M.D.

Dr. Lee graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree with high honors from the University of Notre Dame. He attended Duke University Medical School and completed his Ophthalmology residency at the University of Pittsburgh where he finished as Chief Resident. Dr. Lee joined Southern Shores Eye Center in 1998. He is a managing partner since 2003. Dr. Lee is an active Board Certified Ophthalmologist serving the Manahawkin and surrounding communities for almost 30 years. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He serves on the Operations Committee of AtlantiCare Surgery Centers. Dr. Lee is actively involved in Multifocal Premium and Toric IOLs in advanced sutureless cataract surgery. He offers minimally invasive glaucoma surgery at the time of cataract extraction.

Neil G. Dreizen, M.D.

Dr. Dreizen completed his undergraduate studies summa cum laude earning a Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston University. He graduated summa cum laude from Boston University Medical School, and completed his Ophthalmology residency at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia. After two years of fellowship training at Emory University in Atlanta, he spent two years as Assistant Professor at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. Dr. Dreizen joined Southern Shores Eye Center, P.A. (formerly Erickson, Dreizen & Lee Eye Center, P.A.) in 1988. Dr. Dreizen is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He has served as President of the Medical Staff at Southern Ocean County Medical Center. He is also a member of the Wills Eye Hospital Society, the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society, the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society, and the Society of Heed Fellows.

Dr. Moliterno graduated from the Michigan College of Optometry with highest distinction in 2012. She completed her bachelor’s degree at Ferris State University in 2008. As a 2005 graduate of Birch Run High School, Dr. Moliterno is happy to be caring for patients near her hometown. She has practiced at Riverfront Eyecare in Saginaw since 2015. Dr. Garrison graduated from the Ohio State University College of Optometry in 1998. She completed her bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science at Western Michigan University in 1992. Dr. Garrison joined Riverfront Eyecare in 2018 and has been practicing in both the Flint and Saginaw locations.

In her free time, Dr. Garrison enjoys hiking, playing piano, and playing the oboe. She also spends her time with her three sons as they compete in baseball, wrestling and football.

Dr. Melisa David has practiced with Riverfront Eyecare for 16 years. She is a 1998 graduate of the Michigan College of Optometry. Dr. Hawaa Ali, OD, is a highly skilled and experienced optometrist at the OC Optometry Group in Newport Beach, California. Alyson Yashar, MD graduated from Brown University and NYU School of Medicine, where she was president of her class. She completed an internship in internal medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital. She performed her eye surgery training at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in New York City. Dr. Yashar completed a fellowship in neuro-ophthalmology, also at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, and simultaneously received additional training in oculoplastics. She is presently an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at NYU School of Medicine and teaches at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary.

Neuro-ophthalmology has a diagnostic and medical focus, concentrating on diseases like Multiple Sclerosis, myasthenia gravis, double vision, decreased vision, brain tumors, and unexplained visual loss. Many patients are co-managed by their neurologist, rheumatologist, or internist.

Dr. Brandon Chuang grew up in Irvine, CA before attending University of California San Diego. He graduated with a BS in Biology in 2013. He then earned his Doctorate of Optometry from New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA in 2018.

After graduation, he pursued a residency in ocular disease and primary care at the Veteran’s Affairs Hospital of Brockton, Massachusetts. At his residency, he worked closely with world renowned ophthalmologists, comanaging glaucoma, dry eye, uveitis, cataracts, and retinal diseases like macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy. After finishing residency, Dr. Chuang returned to his alma mater as a professor, where he worked as faculty training future optometrists for 2 years before returning to Orange County.

Dr. Chuang has been described as a compassionate eyecare provider who is committed to high quality patient care. His specialty is glaucoma, but he considers himself a jack of all trades given his various clinical experiences. He also enjoys treating dry eye, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and fitting contact lenses. "It's important for me to be able to give the best level of care to all of my patients, so I stay up to date on all aspects of my clinical care and new technologies."

Nano Zeringue, MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist with the team at Southern Eye Institute, which has offices in Houma and Thibodaux, Louisiana. Dr. Zeringue has been providing professional medical and surgical eye care in her hometown of Thibodaux since 2004. 

Dr. Zeringue completed her medical degree in 1997 at Louisiana State University Medical Center in Shreveport, where she graduated with honors. After graduating, she completed her internship at Carraway Methodist Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama. She furthered her training with an ophthalmology residency at Tulane University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, Louisiana.
