She grew up in the greater Dallas area and completed medical and sub-specialty training in the metroplex. Dr. Dajee always envisioned herself as a true community physician and yearned to give back to the community in which she grew up. She grew up in Plano, Texas, and graduated as a President’s Scholar from Southern Methodist University Summa Cum Laude.

After completing medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, where she enjoyed being class president for four years and graduated with Alpha Omega Alpha honors, she began her post-doctoral training with an internship in Internal Medicine at Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas and then completed her residency in Ophthalmology at the University of Texas Southwestern.

During her time in ophthalmology residency, she served on the Chief Resident Council and, during her second year, won a research award. She graduated summa cum laude with honors from the Program for the Exceptionally Gifted (PEG) at Mary Baldwin College in Staunton, Virginia. Dr. Nguyen earned her medical degree from the West Virginia University School of Medicine in Morgantown, West Virginia, where she also completed her internship and residency in ophthalmology. Archana Nair, MD, is a board-certified retina specialist practicing at Greater Dallas Retina in McKinney, Texas. 

Originally from Minnesota, Dr. Nair holds a deep passion for medicine and innovation, graduating with a Bachelor of Science and a master's degree from Stanford University School of Engineering. During this time, she was instrumental in the development of patents and the integration of surgical devices into operating rooms.

Dr. Nair graduated from Stanford University School of Medicine. She began her ophthalmology training with an internship at the University of California at San Diego, followed by a residency at New York University. She then proceeded to Vanderbilt University School of Medicine to complete a fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery. A fierce advocate of excellent care, Dr. Nair has cared for patients from all over the US. She is very excited to join Greater Dallas Retina.

Dr. Nair enjoys classical dance, travel, and spending time with her husband, who is also a physician in the DFW area.

A native of Plano, Dr. Joseph graduated from Plano West Senior High School, subsequently went on to the University of Texas at Austin for his undergraduate studies, and then to medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. He completed his medicine internship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and a rigorous ophthalmology residency at the Downstate Medical Center in New York City. 

To further advance his training, Dr. Joseph accepted a surgical glaucoma fellowship at Harvard Medical School’s Massachusetts Eye and Ear and Massachusetts General Hospital. He was trained in the full array of interventional glaucoma, including both office-based laser treatments, surgical laser therapies, and traditional major glaucoma surgery. During his fellowship, he was also mentored by renowned ophthalmologist Dr. Mark Latina, a pioneer in medical lasers and the inventor of selective laser trabeculoplasty (SLT). SLT has become one of the most effective treatments for glaucoma, and Dr. Joseph is one of the few specialists in the country to train directly under Dr. Latina.

After completing his fellowship, Dr. Joseph returned home and founded Dallas Glaucoma Specialists in 2018 with the goal of providing premier glaucoma care in his hometown community. In 2019, he became the first surgeon to implant the revolutionary XEN glaucoma stent in Collin County.
