Dr. Schapiro received his medical degree from the University of Miami in 2000, graduating in the top 10% of his class and a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.
Dr. Schapiro specializes in minimally invasive surgical techniques and arthroscopy of the knee, shoulder, wrist, and ankle as well as complex ligament reconstruction, joint replacement surgery of the knee, hip, and shoulder and fracture treatment, having received his trauma training at the premier Level I Trauma Center in Detroit.
