Dr. Mitchell received his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine after getting his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Central Oklahoma.
Fueled by his love of orthopedic medicine, Dr. Mitchell did his internship in orthopedic medicine at the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Wichita. He also completed his orthopedic surgery residency there.
He continued his education at the University of Utah, obtaining his fellowship in adult hip and knee reconstruction. This completed his impressive educational journey, along with his certification to the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
