Jessica Mathis, PT, DPT, GCS, received her Bachelor of Health Science degree in 2008 and her Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy in 2011, both from the University of Central Arkansas. She worked at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, NY, after graduating until relocating back to Northwest Arkansas in 2018. I have been a Physical Therapist for 20 years in a variety of practice settings and administrative roles. After graduating with my doctorate in Physical Therapy from Ithaca College, I started my career in a school working with children with severe developmental disabilities. After having my first child I found a job closer to home in an outpatient rehabilitation clinic and that's where I've spent the majority of my clinical career. I specialize in vertigo and vestibular rehab, orthopedics, sports medicine, neurological disorders, pre/post surgical treatments, spine care, pediatrics, and more! Before starting my own practice I was the Rehabilitation Supervisor for a local, rural hospital, overseeing all settings including those patients in the hospital and emergency room, the attached nursing home and inpatient rehabilitation unit, and outpatient therapy.
