In my decade as a physical therapist, I've worked in a variety of orthopedic settings, from a community hospital, to small private practices and large chains in New York and Chicago. The diverse experiences that brought me here help inform my practice. As a young clinician, I completed a year-long physical therapy orthopedic residency program, which means I approach each session with clinical reasoning and manual therapy skills. I'm passionate about continuing education; in addition to seeking the most current techniques and therapies, I seek out additional skills and certifications. After the birth of my first son, I started taking a series of classes to help me specialize in pelvic floor physical therapy. I have been a Physical Therapist for 20 years in a variety of practice settings and administrative roles. After graduating with my doctorate in Physical Therapy from Ithaca College, I started my career in a school working with children with severe developmental disabilities. After having my first child I found a job closer to home in an outpatient rehabilitation clinic and that's where I've spent the majority of my clinical career. I specialize in vertigo and vestibular rehab, orthopedics, sports medicine, neurological disorders, pre/post surgical treatments, spine care, pediatrics, and more! Before starting my own practice I was the Rehabilitation Supervisor for a local, rural hospital, overseeing all settings including those patients in the hospital and emergency room, the attached nursing home and inpatient rehabilitation unit, and outpatient therapy. Madeline graduated from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in May of 2024. Since graduation, she has practiced in an orthopedic physical therapy practice focusing on shoulder injuries, elbow/wrist and hand injuries, post-surgical care including shoulder replacements, hip and knee replacements as well as neck and low back issues, patellofemoral pain, plantarfasciitis and achilles repairs/injuries. She has also worked a great deal with athletes in the following sports: volleyball, track, soccer, running, pickle ball and basketball. She brings her passion for helping people get back to doing what they love to do and sharing her love for the joy of movement with others.
