Kaity graduated from SUNY Geneseo where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Science followed by Emory & Henry College where she received her Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. Julia Shinkle, PT, DPT, LSVT BIG is an orthopedic physical therapist at Princeton Sports and Family Medicine in Lawrenceville, NJ.

Julia graduated from the University of Dallas in 2018 with a BS in Biology. At UD, she played on the women's lacrosse team and worked with the Special Olympics. A NJ native, Julia returned to the East Coast after college to earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy at Temple University, graduating in 2021. As a PT student, Julia served as an executive board member for the North Broad Physical Therapy Center, a student-run pro bono physical therapy clinic in North Philadelphia. 

Julia has experience working with patients of all ages across a variety of settings. She is particularly interested in biomechanics and movement analysis, especially with runners and endurance athletes. As a runner herself, Julia is passionate about breaking the cycle of chronic injury and frustration that many athletes face. She is also certified in LSVT BIG, which is a movement-based treatment approach for Parkinson's Disease and other neurologic movement disorders. Kimberly was even able to accompany the UF Volleyball team to a SEC championship and NCAA tournament! After UF, she attended the University of St. Augustine to obtain a doctorate in physical therapy, where she graduated in 2009. Tariq Hilal, DO, MS, is a sports and spine physician practicing at South Coast Sports and Spine Medicine in Los Alamitos, California. Born and raised in the Midwest, Wendy Van Sickle (she/her), moved to the PNW in 2016 and enjoys finding new opportunities to enjoy and explore this region of the country.

She worked as an Emergency Medical Technician in Illinois for just under 10 years before becoming a Physical Therapist Assistant in 2016. Her initial interest in the healthcare field stems from a strong sense of compassion and empathy while helping people maintain, if not improve, their quality of life. She has a strong desire to build positive, nurturing relationships with people of all backgrounds while providing them with a safe space to work toward decreasing pain and increasing function.

In their free time, she and her husband enjoy road trips, festivals, and hanging out by the water or in the mountains. Both she and her husband are avid Seattle Thunderbirds fans and are proud season ticket holders for the team. She also enjoys rock painting, scrapbooking, and reading.

Dr. Darius Porter (he/him) grew up his whole life as a Tacoma, WA native, and graduated from Foss High School. He then graduated with his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Washington State University (Go Cougs!). While waiting to get accepted into a physical therapy program, Darius worked as a Physical Therapy Aide to build his knowledge base and gain experience. He was then accepted and completed his Doctor of Physical Therapy program from Hampton University in Virginia. During his education he has won the Bruya-Wood Conference Award for Critical Thinking and making it on the Dean’s list.

Darius’ passion for helping others comes from his own personal experience of inadequate care as a youth and wants his patient’s to not only know the benefits that Physical Therapy can provide, but also how to prevent future injuries later in life.

Dr. Dainielle Gordon-Cornwall is a licensed Physical Therapist in the State of Florida. She completed her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2007 from Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, CA. Cailey earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Belmont University in Nashville Tennessee. She received her bachelor’s degree in Movement and Sports Science from Purdue University in Indiana, where she competed as a cross country and track athlete. She retired from the sport after a hip injury that limited her return to running. In recent years, she received treatment for her pelvic floor allowing her to return to her full stride and back to what she loves. This path drew her to the pelvic floor branch of physical therapy.
