I have been a Licensed Physical Therapist for 20 years in beautiful Bozeman, MT and have advanced training in both craniosacral therapy and lymphatic drainage therapy. I incorporated dry needling into my physical therapy practice nine years ago and have a passion to assist others with their healing process. After receiving my Master’s degree in Physical Therapy at the College of St. Catherine in Minneapolis, Minnesota I decided to move out to Bozeman, Montana. Following school, I continued to explore more alternative therapies. Throughout the years, I continue to appreciate the combination of traditional and non-traditional therapies and how a person can benefit from receiving both. In my practice, I look at how the body moves and how a person breathes. Assessing the internal patterns that are contributing to the outer patterns of the body and causing pain, tension and decreased tolerance with activity. I believe the body has an amazing capacity to heal.

With 18 years of experience as a physical therapist, I’m a board-certified orthopedic specialist with extensive training in pelvic health, obstetric physical therapy, and the management of persistent pain conditions. Over the years, I’ve learned that the most effective care isn’t always about following a standard formula. It’s about listening closely, understanding the person in front of me, and creating a treatment approach that is thoughtful, individualized, and specific to their goals. That philosophy is at the heart of PT x AJ. I believe your body deserves more than a diagnosis or a one-size-fits-all treatment plan. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and confident in your care—while giving you the tools and knowledge to better understand and trust your own body. John Marlow earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Western Kentucky University building on his bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Physiology from Rockhurst University in Kansas City. Relocating to Phoenix in 2017, he first directed rehabilitation in an inpatient sub-acute facility, then led an outpatient clinic as Clinic Director, and has provided vestibular, spine and manual trigger-point therapy to patients in an outpatient setting since 2019. Along the way, he focused his work on people living with neck and back pain, dizziness, and concussion recovery. Already a spinal specialist and manual trigger-point therapy specialist, he expanded into vestibular care and has been helping Phoenix-area patients resolve pain and dizziness for nine years.

Noam Eitan, PT, DPT, PWCS, is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and a board-certified Pelvic and Women's Health Clinical Specialist. She is passionate about helping people of all genders and ages overcome pelvic health challenges through compassionate, evidence-based care, with a special focus on supporting women throughout every stage of life. Drawing on extensive training in pelvic health, orthopedics, and integrative health, Noam takes a whole-person approach to care. She partners with each patient to understand the root causes of their symptoms and create individualized treatment plans that support their goals and overall well-being. Beyond patient care, Noam enjoys teaching and mentoring clinicians and is dedicated to expanding access to pelvic health education. Outside of the clinic, she loves traveling, hiking, and exploring the outdoors with her husband and three kids.

Jessica Mathis, PT, DPT, GCS, received her Bachelor of Health Science degree in 2008 and her Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy in 2011, both from the University of Central Arkansas. She worked at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, NY, after graduating until relocating back to Northwest Arkansas in 2018. Jessica enjoys working with patients to improve their everyday movement and abilities to improve their quality of life. She is a board-certified Geriatric Clinical Specialist and a Balance & Fall Prevention Credentialed Professional (both through the APTA), and certified in PWR! Moves and LSVT Big for Parkinson's and neuromuscular treatments. She is also the Arkansas State Advocate for the APTA Geriatrics section. When not working, she enjoys walking her dogs, knitting, reading, and spending time with her husband and family.

Caroline specializes in pelvic health physical therapy and is dedicated to helping patients improve comfort, function, and quality of life through personalized, evidence-based care.  Caroline earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Miami University in 2013 and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Drexel University in 2016. She began her career as an inpatient physical therapist at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab, where she worked extensively with individuals with spinal cord injuries and complex neurological conditions.

 

Following the birth of her first daughter in 2020, Caroline developed a deep interest in pelvic health and pursued advanced training through Herman & Wallace, along with dedicated clinical mentorship while continuing her work at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab. In 2022, she fully transitioned into an outpatient pelvic health physical therapy role.

Caroline is passionate about normalizing open conversations around pelvic health, increasing public education, and creating a supportive, shame-free environment where patients feel heard, empowered, and confident in their care. She is excited to bring her diverse clinical background and expertise to the Beyond Gyne Health community.

Outside of work, Caroline enjoys spending time at home with her husband and three young daughters. She loves running, strength training, coffee, hearty soups, family walks, and admiring the moon. We are excited to welcome her to the team!

Shannon Jaronik DPT, PRPC is a pelvic floor physical therapist for Beyond Gyne Health. Shannon received her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2002 and graduated with her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Illinois Chicago in 2005. She is a specialist in the field of pelvic floor therapy, having earned her Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification (PRPC) in 2020 through the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute.

Shannon began her career as an outpatient orthopedic physical therapist with Northshore University Healthsystems. She quickly transitioned into women's health having found a passion for treating and supporting women of all ages. Shannon moved to a new role with Northwestern Medicine Urogynecology at Lake Forest Hospital in 2016. Her areas of interest include treating urinary urgency-frequency and dyspareunia (pain with intercourse). She is excited to bring her almost 20 years of experience to the clients of Beyond Gyne Health.

In her free time, Shannon enjoys reading, riding her bike and spending time with her husband, two teenagers and her beagle, Scooter.​

The body was designed to move efficiently, but unfortunately our world does not lend itself to promoting the longevity of our design. Everything we generally do is in front of us and most of us have a dominant side that gets used more than the other. We sit in furniture or cars and at desks constantly and rarely use the full range of joint motion for which our body has full potential. Largely because of this, we tend to become asymmetric in our movements and consequently lose the ability to move through the full range in our joints. In time, this leads to compensatory patterns, wear and tear on our tissue and resultant pain. Each person's pattens are unique and need to be evaluated as such. My approach consists of evaluating how well your joints are moving, which motor patterns are being used to move you through space and then taking the appropriate measures to get both areas in a more effective and efficient position. The focus is functional and intentional movement.

Gerald F. Gaughan, MD, is a highly experienced physical medicine and rehabilitation physician at Doctors United, with offices in the West Farms and Wakefield neighborhoods in the White Plains, and Ardsley, New York. Dr. Gaughan focuses on enhancing and restoring the functional abilities and quality of life for his patients with physical impairments and disabilities. 

After earning his Doctor of Medicine at the State University of New York (SUNY) Health Science Center (now known as SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University) in Brooklyn, New York, Dr. Gaughan completed a one-year medicine internship at New Rochelle Hospital (now known as Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital) in New Rochelle, New York. 

Dr. Gaughan then went on to complete his anesthesia residency at Montefiore Medical Center, the University Hospital for Albert Einstein College of Medicine, in the Bronx, followed by his physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York.

He is board-certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and is licensed to practice medicine in the state of New York. 

Dr. Gaughan has hospital affiliations with St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx and St. John’s Riverside Hospital in Yonkers.
