After serving The Valley for 9 years as a 9-1-1 EMT and Paramedic, he pursued his Bachelor’s of Science in Health Sciences at Northern Arizona University. Dr. Van Damme received his medical degree from Temple University and joined Foot + Ankle Specialty Centers after completing his three-year surgical training at the Level-1 trauma center and home of the Arizona Burn Center, Valleywise Health.

Dr. Sarraf began his journey as a physician at the University of California, Los Angeles, where he graduated with bachelor degrees in microbiology and molecular genetics. He then went on to earn his podiatric medicine degree at the prestigious California School of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt University in San Francisco, graduating magna cum laude. He spent his last year of medical school at Madigan Army Medical Center, located on Joint Base Lewis-McChord, in Tacoma, Washington, where he developed an expertise in a variety of lower extremity diseases and traumas.

Dr. Safar was born and raised in Houston, TX. After attending college at The University of Texas at Austin, he received his medical education from Kent State College of Podiatric Medicine in Ohio. Dr. Safar attended Trinitas Regional Medical Center in Elizabeth, NJ for his reconstructive foot and ankle surgical residency training emphasizing in limb salvage and wound care. It was during his residency where Dr. Safar became experienced in all of the conservative and surgical scopes of Podiatry. Dr. Safar is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine.
Dr. Safar’s passion for medicine began at a very early age when all he wanted to do was help those in need. He constantly volunteered at hospitals and shelters growing up and was part of Health Occupation Students of America (HOSA) during high school. While in college, Dr. Safar was published in a research article at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX which further motivated him into pursuing his interest in medicine.

At NYPCM, Dr. Goodeill and a group of friends founded the International Podiatry Club (IPC) with the intent of generating multicultural medical mission trips. Initially IPC medical missions focused on Baja, Mexico. The IPC has since expanded to India and the Dominican Republic as well. Dr. Goodeill has had the opportunity to be a part of medical missions as a medical student, a resident and an attending.

Kate Kennedy, DPM, is a podiatrist at Foot + Ankle Specialty Centers, with offices in Gilbert, Scottsdale, Chandler, and Phoenix, Arizona. Dr. Kennedy grew up in a small suburban community outside of Portland, Oregon, where she developed a healthy respect for excellence as an avid horse competitor. This need to perform at the highest level would later influence for medical career as a podiatrist.
Dr. Kennedy won a national championship as an equestrian and later became a horse trainer, while also earning two bachelor degrees at Portland State University in biology and psychology. She received her doctor of podiatric medicine degree at Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Health Science.
Dr. Kennedy then moved to Chicago to continue her clinical studies with a residency program that included both forefoot and rearfoot reconstruction training. Despite her rigorous studies, Dr. Kennedy also found time to publish three medical articles, including one about crusted scabies in the Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery.
When she isn’t helping her patients at Foot + Ankle Specialty Centers, Dr. Kennedy enjoys hiking, biking, golfing, and riding horses.

Dr. Mahsa Agha Jafari is a foot and ankle surgeon, board-certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. She specializes in lower extremity pathology including heel pain, arthritis, gout, tendinitis, neuroma, cyst, athlete’s foot, plantar wart, ingrown toenail, nail dystrophy; trauma including fracture, ankle sprain, and tendon ruptures; wound care and diabetic foot care; sports medicine, ankle instability, bunion deformities, biomechanics, and orthotic casting; providing conservative and elective and non-elective surgical treatment.
Dr. Agha Jafari completed her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences at Arizona State University. Kyle Durfey, DPM, D.ABFAS, FACFAS, DABPM, is an experienced Double Board Certified Podiatrist and co-founder of Arizona Foot and Ankle Medical Center in Chandler and Laveen, Arizona. He has an in-depth educational background in foot and ankle injuries, allowing him to comprehensively treat patients for bunions, hammertoes, warts, infections, fractures, arthritis, and pain and injuries of the foot and ankle.
Dr. Durfey studied at Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine in Miami Shores, Florida. There, he spent four years specializing in foot and ankle surgery.
He graduated with his medical degree in 2016 and moved to Tucson, Arizona, for his three-year surgical residency at the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System. During his residency, his knowledge and dedication were quickly recognized, and he became chief resident.

Dr. Brian J. Hiapo Jr, DPM, AACFAS, DABPM, is an experienced Board Certified Podiatrist and the co-founder of Arizona Foot and Ankle Medical Center in Laveen, Arizona. Fluent in Spanish, Dr. Hiapo can communicate thoroughly with patients of varying backgrounds and needs. He frequently treats patients with heel pain, ingrown nails, bunions, hammertoes, ulcerations, and all other foot and ankle conditions that lead to pain and discomfort.
Dr. Hiapo began his education at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, where he was also an accomplished member of the nationally-ranked men's volleyball team. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Latin American studies before attending Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine in Miami Shores, Florida, for his medical training.

Kelvin S. Crezee DPM, FACFAS, of Ahwatukee Foot & Ankle Center in Phoenix and Maricopa, Arizona, is double board-certified in surgery and medicine. He completed his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University and the University of California at Berkeley. He then moved on to complete medical school in San Francisco with honors followed by a highly prestigious, multi-year surgical residency program near Detroit at Kern Hospital for Specialty Foot and Ankle Surgery. In addition, Dr. Crezee has specialty training in diabetes and sports medicine. Continuing with his academic endeavors, Dr. Crezee has served as an Associated Clinical professor at several medical schools and helped found the Carl T. Hayden Veterans Administration Podiatric Surgical Residency Program, the largest Foot and Ankle residency training program in Arizona where he continues to train young surgeons. Dr. Crezee has been serving our veterans for over 25 years.

Dr. Matine Mirsaidi received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine at the Arizona College of Podiatric Medicine of Midwestern University, receiving premium podiatric medical training from a didactic and clinical aspect in affiliated facilities across the country. Thereafter, he completed a three-year podiatric medical and surgical residency at Carl T. Hayden VA Medical Center. He was trained by numerous well renowned foot and ankle specialists across the valley in the diagnosis and treatment of foot and ankle conditions, with vast training in both conservative and surgical management.
Dr. Mirsaidi's diverse training spans across would care, diabetic foot care and limb salvage, complicated lower extremity infections, sports related injuries, dermatological conditions of the lower extremity, heel pain, flat feet, and all other foot and ankle ailments.

Dr. Sarraf did his podiatric residency at St. Mary's Medical Center in San Francisco. His residency included rear foot and ankle reconstructive surgery training as well as a rotation in orthopedic surgery and trauma.
In addition to his work with his patients at Foot + Ankle Specialty Centers, Dr. Sarraf also serves as clinical assistant professor of podiatric medicine at the A.T. Still University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Mesa, Arizona.
