He went on to complete a three-year residency at the Yale New Haven Medical Center Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency Program (PMSR/RRA) in New Haven, Connecticut. Dr. Lazaroff is board-certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS) in foot surgery and reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery.

During his residency, Dr. Lazaroff co-authored a textbook chapter about the surgical management of the neuropathic foot, presented his work at regional conferences, and attended the Orthofix® external fixator course.  He was also part of the multidisciplinary limb preservation clinic, which included podiatric surgery, interventional cardiology, and vascular surgery.

Dr. Lazaroff was trained by some of the most well-known foot and ankle surgeons in the country. He’s honored to receive the post of Section Chief for Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at St. Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury, Connecticut.

Board-certified podiatric surgeon Joel Segalman, DPM, FACFAS, FACFAO, has treated people of all ages at his private practice, Performance Foot & Ankle Specialists, LLC, since 1991. He welcomes new and returning patients at two convenient locations in Waterbury and Newtown, Connecticut. 

After receiving his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago, Dr. Segalman completed his Harvard affiliated residency at the West Roxbury VA Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. He is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS) and a Fellow of the American Board of Podiatric Medicine (ABPM).

While Dr. Segalman treats the full range of foot and ankle problems, he’s an expert in orthotics. He uses state-of-the-art laser treatment, laser treatment, EPAT®, Shockwave, and amnion and chorion membrane injections for foot and ankle problems. His special interest is sports medicine, an area where he has gained exceptional knowledge and experience.

Dr. Segalman was previously the consulting podiatrist for the New York Knicks. One aspect of his experience with the team was published in Lower Extremity Review, a national medical magazine. 

He was honored to be selected as the team podiatrist of the New York City Football Club, a major league soccer team (MLS) and has been part of the club since its inception and the team’s winning of the MLS Cup during the 2021 season. Dr. Stephanie Hochman is a skilled podiatrist with over 20 years of experience providing personalized care for patients of all ages. She focuses on tailoring treatments to each patient lifestyle and needs, ensuring the best outcomes for foot and ankle health. Dr. Hochman earned her Bachelor degree in Biological Sciences from Cornell University and her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from Temple University. She completed her residency at the University of Pennsylvania-Presbyterian Medical Center, serving as Chief Resident, with additional surgical training at Englewood Hospital. Her clinical interests include sports medicine, diabetic foot care, wound care, and maintaining patient independence. She also provides second opinions for surgical care.

Alan J. Rosen, DPM, from the Upper East Side of New York City, received his undergraduate degree in psychology from the State University of New York at Buffalo, before moving on to Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. There, he earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree, as well as a bachelor’s degree in biology. Dr. Rosen served his residency at the FDR Veterans Administration Medical Center at Montrose West Point Academy in New York.

Dr. Latoya Haskin, born and raised in New York, earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology at St. John's University in 2003. In 2007 she attained a Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She served as a first year Podiatric Medicine and Surgery resident(PMS-36) at Our Lady of Mercy Medical Center,and completed her last two years of residency at Beth Israel Medical Center,where she honed her leadership skills as Chief Resident in her third year. In 2010, Dr Haskin was accepted in to a wound care fellowship at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center. During the fellowship, she received certification in hyperbaric medicine. One of the highlights of her fellowship was presenting an abstract case report entitled, "The efficacy of Ultrasonic Debridement on a Chronic Foot Ulcer" at the world renowned Diabetic Global Foot Conference in Hollywood, California. Since completing the fellowship, Dr Haskin has worked in various capacities, including Hyperbaric Attending at Maimonides Medical Center.

Dr. Teddy Efkarpides received his BA degree from Queens College in 1983 and his medical degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 1987.

He has been serving the community for over 30 years, is board certified in foot surgery, and is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
