Dr. Vargas is an angel in disguise. The personal attention and care she gives to patients is rare, especially for a Rheumatologist. She does not just throw drugs out, she explains the research, makes suggestions, inquires about aspects of my life's quality, follows up with regular blood/urine tests and trys various methods. But the biggest most important thing about Dr. Vargas is that she "LISTENS"! I am not just a number, I'm an individual. I thank God for her, her staff and their services. Read less

She listens. She actually listens and does not dismiss me because I am young. I am lucky that my mother is a patient as well so family history is known. Dr. Vargas is kind, she listens, she's sympathetic and willing to talk about options. She gives you the facts and explains medications and what they are, how they work differently instead of just shoving you on one without explanation. I hope my insurance will cover her one day!
