I have been suffering with pain in my upper right thigh, my Dr. Sam recommended ai go see an ortho surgeon, so ai went to see Dr. Kwartowitz on January 16, 2026, i had an X-ray on my right leg, and after that the doctor said I had severe arthritis in my right hip at age 84, he gave me a shot of cortisone in my right hip, he told me to walk around a little bit immediately I had no more pain, he said the shot could last about 4 months, praise the lord, great doctor. Michael was very attentive. He went through numerous physical tests to determine the possible extent of the injury. When the ultrasound appeared to show a possible minor tear in the meniscus, he asked what my future activities were going to be, to be able to give me the best options to choose from. Based upon my needs, he requested an MRI to be sure there was a tear. Whereas, if I did not have significant physical activities coming up, he would have had me do PT and let it heal on its own.
