Dr. Hyman gave me two small shots of cortisone and an Rx for a pain killer "just in case." Fixed me right up - I was able to do @40 miles in extreme terrain (even at 60 y.o.) and hardly had a twinge. Didn't need the pain pills either. I also ran two 5K's w/in two weeks of getting back. Again, no problems. The plan is just to get those shots on an as-needed basis. I feel pretty good in his hands.

I didn’t want to see him because I expected hip surgery as a result! But, my case manager daughter said he was the best and not quick to put a patient under surgery. He read the prior x-rays, the MRI, and then did his own X-ray... Read more I didn’t want to see him because I expected hip surgery as a result! But, my case manager daughter said he was the best and not quick to put a patient under surgery. He read the prior x-rays, the MRI, and then did his own X-rays from the angles he needed to see. But what I appreciated most is how he asked detailed questions about my source of pain, what I could and couldn’t do and length of time. In other words he listened to my body! From there he determined an action plan! I liked him!
