For the first time meeting him, I instantly felt comfortable to talk about certain uncomfortable topics. He pretty got me when I couldn’t some sentences out. He is a very good listener and he felt like a very caring person.

I’ve had 15 years of therapy from 2 previous unrelated therapists in the past. Today, during and after my therapy had more relief and progress in one session than I have ever felt in my life.
This was our first visit but we specifically picked Dr. Strickland ahead of time. And the way my daughter ranted and raved about how funny and nice and just great and easy to talk to that he was the entire time over dinner afterwards was such a relief as a mom. And believe me when I say she does not compliment adults often 🤣 she is looking forward to her next appointment!

Josh.S is a great therapist, I never felt uncomfortable or shy about sharing my issues with him. He always listen until I finished then project his input. He is also super relatable and nonjudgmental. Will definitely recommend anyone especially in the LGBTQ community members to set a meeting with him.
