Dr. Deborah Abeles grew up on the North shore of Long Island, New York. She is a specialized bariatric surgeon with over a decade’s experience in surgical and medical weight loss. She is board-certified in general surgery and obesity medicine. She completed her general surgery residency and metabolic and bariatric fellowship at Tufts Medical Center. Dr. Abeles graduated Washington University in St Louis with Honors. She attended SUNY Downstate Medical School and graduated Summa Cum Laude. She has been inducted into numerous medical honor societies.
