My husband has shoulder arthritis on both his shoulders and there is no cartridge left in the joint We went to see Dr Millstein to see what our options are. My husband is 55 years old and an avid weight lifter who enjoys heavy liShow morefting. We wanted to see what could be done so that he can resume his normal activities at the gym. Dr Millstein was upfront, honest and answered all our questions. While my husband's heavy lifting days are behind him now, It was comforting to have the knowledge that Dr Millstein gave us which will allow us to alter my husband's lifestyle. Surgery most likely will be necessary as Dr Millstein explained but if he can delay it by 10-15 years, that will help ensure that another won't be needed in the future. Dr Millstein explained that if my husband was to have surgery and continue his regular activity at the gym, he will tear the replacement and be back for surgery. Follow up surgery is more complicated and not as successful as the initial so if you can delay it, that is best. There are options to relieve the pain and ultimately the decision on when and if to have surgery depends on the pain level and quality life being affected. We really appreciate how Dr Millstein explained everything to us an how he really cared. Of course we wanted to have an answer saying all will be well and you'll be able to resume your activities at the gym but obviously that wasn't the case. Ultimately, the most important thing is getting accurate information from your doctor and being able to make the right decision together. Stefania
I went to Dr. Millstein when my right shoulder was bone on bone and I was in constant pain day and night. I had been told by another doctor that I needed a shoulder replacement but I had tried to avoid it with cortisone injectioShow morens, etc. but to no avail. I brought him a new MRI and he took ex-rays and confirmed that was what I needed if I want the pain to stop. At 79 I was very reluctant, and frightened. But I immediately felt I was in the right hands. He has an extremely warm and personable way, explains everything totally and we were quickly joking and talking as he answered all my questions. His support staff is great. I had the operation a week ago and it went fine. I had two days of terrible pain, but I had a nerve block and medication. On the third day I began to feel a little less pain and at seven days I saw him again and everything was healing beautifully. I think he did an incredible job, the staples are out and I can see the small scar which will get better daily. I cannot recommend him highly enough. He's the greatest.

As usual, a great experience with Dr. Eric Millstein.
We were fit in on an urgent basis and treated promptly and very well.
Excellent. Dr. Millstein came in on a Saturday to see me and go over my case. He is extremely knowledgeable, personable, never keeps me waiting, answers any questions I may have, and is patient. I feel so fortunate to have have him as my orthopedic doctor. I know I am in the best hands!
A great doctor. Very professional and friendly.
Dr. Millstein is knowledgable and direct to work with. He diagnosed my shoulder issue and started treatment which Dr. explained takes a couple of days to take full effect. I already feel some improvement. Judging from only a single visit I feel very satisfied with Dr. Millstein.

He was exceptional. Gave me excellent information
Dr Millstein's office personnel, particularly Ruth and MaryAnne, are splendid: most helpful and courteous. Dr Millstein is a warm, caring physician who is easy to communicate with, responsive, pragmatic and knowledgeable. I am comfortable and confident in his recommendations.
Everything was good and I got the answers of my all questions
Great, other than the woman working the front desk who made a big deal about me not having my insurance card on me. This was after I had gone online before my appt and filled out a bunch of paperwork that included my insurance info. She finally backed off but it was very u pleasant and the only possible reason is they are too lazy to look up the insurance info. If you have the online form filled out what difference does it make if you have a photo copy of my card?
I meet Dr. with my mom he did her surgery on her knee and she 81 and now she walk like a 50 yr young lady .,May me very happy so I know with my problem with my right knee I know who to go to. I don’t live in the area i drive hour and half., left very satisfied and his staff was professional!

Greatly appreciated the time for a second visit on my upcoming shoulder surgery, as my shoulder was getting better and Dr. Millstein helped me evaluate whether to proceed with surgery or obtain more PT.

I had a great experience seeing Dr. Millstein. He is very professional and knowledgeable. He was very thorough and explained everything so well about what the plan of action should be for my particular knee problem after I had X-rays taken right there in his office. He took lots of time with me answering all my questions. I am going to follow his plan. The whole office staff was so nice and friendly too. It was a wonderful experience!
Setting up the appointment was a breeze. His staff was super efficient and friendly. Then it got better as I met Dr Millstein! I love a FIT doctor and he got right down to business telling me about my knee and the direction we should go. Super personality, very knowledgeable and a cool doctor. A very nice experience!
Always kind, professional and understanding. Also always available.
