Just finished my telehealth appointment with Psychiatrist. She is second gen African (mom from Zimbabwe, dad from Ghana). Went to Yale and interned at UC Davis. Lives in Sacramento. And she did order labs. Highly recommended.

Good communication
I feel very fortunate to have found Dr. Quoa. She is a kind, compassionate person, who is easy to talk to and I feel heard by her.
Dr. Zola Quao is a wonderful doctor. She is not only knowledgeable but also extremely understanding and attentive. She will spend time with you to truly figure out what's going on. I had another doc I was with and I could not wait to go back to Dr. Z Quao. Usually, Psychiatrists don't spend much time with you, they just send a script. She is a perfect mix of an MD and Psychologist.
I had my first appointment with Dr. Quoa yesterday and I feel so blessed to have found her. She is a very knowledgeable, kind and compassionate and I felt truly heard. I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off and am looking forward to working with her.
I am so pleased with my new provider. She listened and made me feel more comfortable than any other provider I have worked with. I feel seen, heard, and supported. I appreciate so much the quality of care and to have felt so hard and trusted about how I feel in my own body, especially being female. I have felt dismissed by so many medical providers, this is an absolute breath of fresh air!
