I am an advanced practice nurse with over fifteen years experience in internal medicine, behavioral health, emergency medicine, and substance use treatment. I have worked in a variety of settings including longterm care, in hospitals, and in clinics. Dr. Vaishali Shah is a board certified psychiatrist with a passion for helping patients with wide-range of mental health concerns including treatment resistant depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, anxiety disorders, PTSD. In keeping with her cultural roots, she has a holistic perspective on mental health and pursues a multi-faceted, individualized, patient-centric approach. While she has deep knowledge of psychiatric medications, she is also a proponent of using interventional psychiatric approaches like Transcranial magnetic stimulation, Esketamine/Ketamine, etc. Her philosophical take on life and infectious pursuit of humor lend a positive energy to her patient care. Dr. Shah attended medical school in India and completed her psychiatry training at Washington University in St. Louis.
Dr. Gonzalez earned her medical degree via Fifth Pathway Certification from New York Medical College, in Valhalla, NY.
After training at New York Medical College, she completed a Family Medicine Internship at University of Connecticut and afterwards went on to complete Psychiatry Residency at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle, WA where she served as Chief Resident at the VA Medical Center in Seattle, WA during her last year in training. She is Board Certified in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

Dr. Darcy Trenkle is a board-certified adult psychiatrist with a strong commitment to integrative, evidence-based care. She has extensive experience treating mood disorders, anxiety, trauma-related conditions, and supporting individuals through complex life transitions. Dr. Trenkle brings nearly a decade of leadership across inpatient, outpatient, and telepsychiatric settings, most recently serving as Medical Director for Behavioral Health at Avel eCare.
She completed her medical degree and residency at Loma Linda University, where she later served on faculty as Medical Director of Interventional Psychiatry and led physician wellness initiatives. She is passionate about building collaborative, respectful partnerships with patients and personalizing care to their individual goals and values. Dr. Trenkle has a strong interest in interventional psychiatry, including TMS and ketamine therapy, and is dedicated to expanding access to these innovative treatment options.
A recent transplant to the Pacific Northwest, Dr. Trenkle is thrilled to join the Pacific Phoenix team. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, traveling, and cheering at baseball games with her family.

He earned his Doctorate in Nursing Practice with a specialty in psychiatry from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. During his training, Dr. De La Mora completed clinical rotations at UTHealth Houston Harris County Psychiatric Center, Houston Methodist Hospital, Houston Behavioral Healthcare Hospital, Psychiatry of Texas, Synapse Psychiatry, and Turning Point Psychiatry. His doctoral research focused on post-stroke depression and post-stroke anxiety.
Dr. De La Mora believes long-term mental wellness is best achieved through a comprehensive, whole-person approach. His care integrates medication management with psychotherapy, sleep hygiene, nutrition, exercise, social connection, and mindfulness-based techniques.
