The idea is not mine. My introduction to the practice of therapeutic presence came by wedding my natural gifts with hard work to finish degrees and residencies. Dr. Humberto Caro received his B.A. in Biology at the University of Puerto Rico, San Juan and then attended medical school at Universidad Central del Caribe School of Medicine in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. From there, he went on to complete a residency in psychiatry at Drexel University College of Medicine and at Ponce Health Sciences University in Ponce, Puerto Rico.

In most cases, she evaluates the patient for 60 minutes in person, or virtually at the time of the initial psychiatric evaluation, and offers 30 minute follow up appointments for all her stablished patients.
