About Amber Kerby
Hey y’all! I am a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, with training and experience working with patients in various practice settings, both inpatient and outpatient. My nursing education began in 2013 in my Mississippi hometown before moving to Denver, CO where I later obtained my Associates, then Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. I then pursued a Masters of Science in Nursing, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification from the University of South Alabama and moved to Nashville in 2018. I believe in treating mental health conditions holistically through the mind/body/spirit connection while providing an evidence-based patient centered approach to care. I value inter-professional collaboration that supports my goal of promoting hope to individuals and families with mental illnesses, instilling empowerment, and helping individuals living with mental illness seek and maintain a meaningful role in life.
