Dr. Ron Lopez is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology as well as certified as a Diplomat in the sub-specialty of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He completed his training in adult and child Psychiatry at Jackson Memorial Hospital, University of Miami and has been in private practice in the Pinellas County area for more than 24 years. Sharon is a graduate of the University of New Mexico with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing . She then attended the South Florida where she obtained a Master’s Degree in Nursing in 1987. She added Family Practice to her career in 1992 at the University of South Florida She also has completed the coursework for an Ed.D. in Counseling Psychology. Sharon is the founder and President of Building New Horizons, Inc. and Creating Better Brains, DBA. Her intention is to help all who she comes in contact with to “build new horizons” thru “creating better brains”.
