Dr. Elatrozy earned his medical degree from the University of Alexandria’s Faculty of Medicine in Alexandria Egypt, where he also completed an internship. He relocated to the United States to complete his residency in adult psychiatry at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia. Dr. Elatrozy went on further to complete a subspecialty fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. He is currently certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in both adult psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry.
Dr. Elatrozy’s skills as a clinical practitioner are bolstered by the time he’s spent working in other areas of psychiatry. He’s served as an associate clinical professor of psychiatry at the University of California San Diego and has worked with Orange County Behavioral Health Services. He’s also participated in numerous clinical research studies on schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorders, and tardive dyskinesia, and drug studies of Clozaril® and Zyprexa™.

Immediately after completing his training, Dr. Elmashat was recruited to serve as a faculty member at the University of California San Diego’s School of Medicine, where he has been an associate professor in the psychiatry department for over 15 years. During his time at UCSD, he’s served as the director of the La Jolla multi-specialty programs, founded and directed the telepsychiatry program and executive mental health program, and regularly teaches medical students and residents.

Thomas Dixon, M.D., Ph.D. is a psychiatrist graduated from the UCSD Psychiatry Residency, Research Track. He has an interest in neuromodulation and has been involved in TMS clinical trials as well as basic research in ketamine effects on neurons. He completed the Tufts Medical Scientist Training Program where he received his medical doctorate as well as a Ph.D. in Cell, Molecular, and Developmental Biology. His Ph.D. involved recreating the human neuromuscular junction with multiple cell types in 3D bio-fabricated structures in the lab. Beyond science and medicine, he is passionate about the outdoors, cinema, Boston sports teams, and environmental policy.
Dr. Jerry C. Bobo, M.D., has been a physician for 44 years. He was an Ob-Gyn physician for 19 years and has been a psychiatrist for the last 25 years. He received his training in psychiatry and psychoneuroimmunology at UCSD. In addition, he has trained as a medical acupuncturist, herbalist and homeopathic physician. Dr. Madalyn Cosensci PMHNP, DNP-BC, is a California licensed Nurse Practitioner with a Doctorate in Psychiatry. Timothy M. Veal, MD, is a board-certified psychiatrist with extensive experience working with diverse patient populations across various backgrounds and genders in both military and civilian settings. Dr. Veal earned his medical degree from the University of Massachusetts School of Medicine and completed his psychiatry residency at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego. His military career includes serving as the sole psychiatrist at the United States Naval Hospital in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, and deploying to Southeast Asia, where he engaged in subject matter exchanges on mental health issues related to humanitarian relief and disaster preparedness. He has also served on various committees promoting healthcare ethics and provider wellness.
