With over a decade of nursing and psychiatric experience, Cristina quickly realized she had two passions: psychiatry and emergency medicine.
Before entering the nursing field, Cristina obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey. Shortly after college, Cristina received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She spent most of her nursing career as an emergency medicine nurse at an urban, level-one trauma center.
Cristina is dual-trained in pediatric and adult emergency nursing care, holding multiple advanced certifications in pediatric and adult resuscitation, disaster management, and trauma care.
Cristina received her graduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and is board-certified as a family psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner, practicing in the treatment of both children and adults.
She specializes in the treatment of chronic and persistent mental illness, childhood psychosis, mood disorders (including anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder), eating disorders, trauma, and substance abuse.
She also specializes in complex pediatric and adult psychopharmacology cases and often utilizes an interdisciplinary approach to patient care when developing treatment plans.
Cristina is extremely passionate about preserving mental well-being and advocates the importance of preventative mental health care.
Matthew Minteer MSN, APN, PMHNP-BC, is an Advanced Practice Nurse specializing in Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatry at Clarity Psychiatric Care in Cherry Hill, NJ. Matthew has over 10 years of experience in the mental health field and currently works in multiple levels of care including PHP, IOP, and inpatient. Matthew is proud to join the team at Clarity to continue to provide high quality mental health care.
Matthew received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, from Widener University in 2011. Shortly after, Matthew found his passion for mental health care when he started working as a mental health technician at a psychiatric inpatient facility. While working, he decided to pursue his nursing degree, and graduated from Drexel’s 24 month accelerated nursing program in 2017. After obtaining his Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Matthew continued his work in the mental health field as a charge nurse and eventually nursing supervisor.
Matthew followed his passion and furthered his education by obtaining his Master of Science in Nursing from Drexel University in June of 2022, and obtained his ANCC PMHNP certification in August of 2022. Matthew has experience in treating adolescents, adults, older adults and caring for those with psychosis, mood disorders, anxiety, personality disorders, substance abuse, trauma, ADHD, and more.
Dan Egenlauf, PMHNP, is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner at Clarity Psychiatry Care in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. He has a deep passion for supporting individuals on their mental health journey.
Dan has been a registered nurse since 2013, earning his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Holy Family University. He spent the majority of his nursing career in critical care, where he developed a strong foundation in clinical decision-making and patient-centered care.
Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Dan also worked as a pre-hospital registered nurse and spent several years as a travel nurse in hospitals across California. Those experiences gave him the opportunity to care for diverse populations and sharpen his ability to adapt quickly and think holistically in high-pressure environments.
Dan’s background in emergency and critical care led him to develop a strong interest in mental health, where he now specializes in medication management for a range of psychiatric conditions, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma-related disorders, and mood disorders. As a former first responder and critical care nurse, Dan has a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by those in high-stress roles. He is especially passionate about supporting fellow healthcare workers, first responders, and anyone navigating the demands of physically and emotionally intense careers. Dan’s approach is collaborative, respectful, and individualized.
