I know you are not looking for a provider because things are going well in your life and that is my purpose for being here. I became a nurse because I wanted to help others and give back to the world and my community; and then, became a nurse practitioner because I felt there was more I could do to help ease suffering.
As a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), I am able to provide initial assessments, diagnosis, and medication management for mental health issues. I do not provide traditional psychotherapy, but I will incorporate brief psychotherapy into scheduled appointments. I am also a certified Family Nurse Practitioner, and while I do not provide routine medical care, I am able to provide more holistic care as I am able to give consideration to your medical issues.
