Lainey Ortiz, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant at Integrated Dermatology of NJ, located in East Brunswick, New Jersey.
Mrs. Ortiz received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from The College of William and Mary and her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from LIU in Brooklyn, New York. She is a member of The American Academy of Physician Assistants and The Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
Mrs. Ortiz specializes in treating and educating patients about various skin conditions, including but not limited to acne, eczema, rosacea, fungal infections, skin cancer, and warts. She takes pleasure in discussing skincare regimens and cosmetic treatments tailored to each individual’s skin matters. Acne and rosacea are two conditions she focuses on treating as she personally has encountered these difficult skin obstacles.

Aton M. Holzer, MD, FAAD, FACMS, is a seasoned Mohs surgeon who is the Director of Mohs Surgery in the Department of Dermatology at Tel Aviv-Sourasky (Ichilov) Medical Center in Tel Aviv, Israel, a major academic hospital in the heart of a bustling metropolis, where he supervises a busy Mohs unit with three surgeons, residents and student rotators, and also serves as director of the American College of Mohs Surgery Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology (MSDO) fellowship program.
Dr. Holzer was born and raised in Queens, New York. He completed his undergraduate studies at Yeshiva University, graduating summa cum laude, and went on to complete a master's degree in modern Jewish history. He then attended medical school at Weill Medical College of Cornell University, where he graduated with an M.D. with Honors in Research, and where he was awarded the prestigious “Good Physician” award. He completed his internship in internal medicine at Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital, a four-year Research Track residency in dermatology at the University of Alabama-Birmingham, and a fellowship in Mohs Surgery and Procedural Dermatology at The Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas under the tutelage of Leonard H. Goldberg, MD. In the past, he has worked as a dermatologist and Mohs surgeon in both South Miami and Pembroke Pines, Florida and as a part-time teledermatology consultant for Refuah Health Center in Rockland County, New York.
Since 2015, he has divided his time between Israel and the United States. He commutes back to the U.S. one week per month to treat Mohs patients in our East Brunswick office, as well as numerous other offices in the Northeast, mostly in communities that are relatively underserved by Mohs surgeons. He is a fellow member of the American College of Mohs Surgery and the American Academy of Dermatology, and is a member of the Israel Medical Association. Dr. Holzer has authored a published chapter in a dermatology textbook and has authored and co-authored dozens of articles published in a variety of peer-reviewed journals. He has delivered talks and his work has been presented at national and international Mohs and dermatology conferences. He lives in Beit Shemesh, Israel with his wife and six children.
Dr. Marc Avram is a Harvard-trained board certified dermatologist and hair loss specialist, practicing in the Upper East Side of New York City. Dr. Avram treats men and women with a variety of services to treat hair loss, including hair transplants, platelet rich plasma (PRP) treatments, low laser light therapy, and medications for hair loss.
In addition to treating patients, Dr. Avram is a clinical professor of dermatology at the New York Presbyterian Hospital - Weill Medical College at Cornell Medical Center and has authored five textbooks on hair loss, and hair transplantation.

Amy B. Lewis, M.D. graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Pennsylvania. She then received her Medical Degree, with highest honors, from the Yale School of Medicine. Dr. Lewis then moved to the New York area for a medical internship at Cornell/New York Hospital, and completed her Dermatology residency at Downstate Medical Center as Chief Resident. She returned to Yale for a fellowship in Dermatological Laser and Reconstructive Surgery. After completing this specialized training, Dr. Lewis began working in private practice, while also performing several clinical studies pioneering Dermatological lasers at the Washington Institute for Dermatological Laser Surgery. Vignesh Ramachandran, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist and fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology who treats adults and children in full-spectrum general, medical, and cosmetic dermatology conditions affecting the skin, hair and nails. When he was a child, he and his family immigrated to a small town of 16,000 in Ontario, Canada before his educational journey brought him to the United States. Dr. Ramachandran still maintains those small town values, merging relentless hard work with compassion, honesty and humility to care for his patients and community.
Dr. Ramachandran graduated as a Presidential Scholar from the Dean’s Scholars Honors Program at the University of Texas at Austin. After earning his medical degree from George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C., Dr. Brancaccio completed an internship at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. He then completed his residency in dermatology at the University of Oregon Health Sciences Center in Portland, Oregon.
Dr. Brancaccio is board-certified in dermatology, and he is a clinical professor at New York University School of Medicine in New York City. When he’s not tending to patients at SINY® or teaching future dermatologists, he lectures on dermatology-related topics and has authored more than 40 scholarly publications, primarily on the subject of skin allergies.
Currently serving on the board of directors of the American Contact Dermatitis Society and the New York State Society of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery, Dr. Brancaccio has also served as president of the New York Dermatologic Society, the Bay Ridge Medical Society, and the Dermatologic Society of Greater New York, He maintains active memberships in those professional organizations as well as the American Academy of Dermatology and the Annenberg Circle Committee for the Dermatology Foundation, which supports vital dermatology research. Sergey Petrosian DO is a board-certified dermatologist at the Skin Institute of New York (SINY®). Dr. Petrosian treats adult and pediatric patients at three of SINY’s® offices, in the Forest Hills area of Queens as well as the Bay Ridge and Park Slope areas of Brooklyn, New York.
He is a native of New York City who grew up in Queens and attended Brooklyn Technical High School. After earning a bachelor of science degree from SUNY Stony Brook University, Dr. Petrosian received his medical degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine (NYCOM/NYITCOM) in Westbury, New York. He then completed his residency at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital in Queens, New York in affiliation with Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Petrosian attended, presented and lectured at many conferences as a resident, he also received many scholastic accolades in that time. During his residency Dr. Petrosian consistently scored amongst the top percentile in the nation on in-service examinations. Allison Jaekle is a Board Certified Physician Assistant specializing in medical and cosmetic dermatology. Allison was born and raised locally on Long Island. She attended Binghamton University for her undergraduate degree in History with a concentration in Public Health. She then attended Touro College for a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences and a Master in Physician Assistant Studies, where she received the Leadership, Academic, and Clinical Achievement awards upon graduation.
She is currently an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, New York State Society of Physician Assistants, and the Society for Dermatology Physician Assistants. Allison has always had a true passion for dermatology and is honored to be part of the SINY Dermatology team. Dr. Sarah Yagerman is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs micrographic surgeon. She practices medical, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology in NYC and has a special interest in dermatologic oncology. A skilled, caring practitioner, she believes in an individualized and holistic approach to each patient and their skin. She enjoys all aspects of dermatology. She is skilled in the use of lasers to treat various conditions including Melasma, Photoaging, tattoos, and Rosacea. She has trained extensively with injectable fillers including Juvederm, Restylane, and Sculptra, and neuromodulators like Botox, Xeomin, and Dysport.
Dr. Yagerman is a native New Yorker; she returned home from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY to complete her medical degree at Weill Cornell Medical College in NYC, and she graduated with honors in service. She then completed a year of dedicated dermatologic surgery research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
After medical school, she moved downtown to complete an intensive Internal Medicine intern year at NYU Langone Health, which was followed by her 3-year dermatology residency at NYU’s prestigious Ronald O. Perelman Department of dermatology. She served as Chief resident in her final residency year and continued to develop a passion for dermatology and research. She has over 20 peer-reviewed publications in cosmetic and dermatologic surgery.
She continued her training by completing an ACGME accredited fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery and dermatologic oncology at Skin Laser and Surgery Specialists of NY and NJ. A lifelong learner and educator, Dr. Yagerman is proud to return to NYU to serve as Voluntary Faculty, where she volunteers weekly with residents, teaching surgical skills and overseeing the clinic.
In her free time, Dr. Yagerman loves to cook, garden, run, and spend time her family. She came to running later in life and sincerely hopes there will be public races again in the near future!
Dr. Regina Zambrano DiFiore is a board-certified dermatologist at the Skin Institute of New York (SINY®), where she sees patients at the Massapequa, Long Island office. Dr. Zambrano graduated with honors from Stony Brook University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a specialization in Developmental Genetics. Lisa M. Gruson, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist and part of the medical team at the Skin Institute of New York (SINY®). Dr. Gruson practices medical and cosmetic dermatology and performs laser procedures at SINY’s® three offices, one in the West Village area of New York City and the others in the Bay Ridge and Park Slope areas of Brooklyn, New York.
After earning her undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and graduating with Phi Beta Kappa honors, Dr. Gruson received her medical degree from the New York University School of Medicine in New York City. While in medical school, she earned the Marion B. Sulzberger Dermatology Award and membership in the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She then completed her dermatology residency at the NYU Medical Center, serving as chief resident and receiving the Morris Leider Award for excellence in dermatology.
Dr. Gruson is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and an active member of numerous professional medical organizations, including the New York State Medical Society, the American Contact Dermatitis Society, and the Dermatologic Society of Greater New York. She has conducted research and published numerous scholarly articles on dermatology topics, including skin allergies, her area of expertise, and she has presented these findings at national medical conferences.
As a clinical assistant professor at the NYU School of Medicine, Dr. Gruson teaches dermatology residents and also advises medical students who are considering the dermatology specialty.
Dr. Ezra Hazan is a board certified dermatologist and fellowship trained Mohs surgeon. He graduated with honors from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Hazan went on to do an internship in internal medicine at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. He then completed his dermatology residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery and cosmetic dermatology at Mount Sinai Hospital. There he gained extensive knowledge and experience in procedural dermatology, including surgery of the skin as well as advanced cosmetic procedures like injectables, lasers and light based technologies.
Dr. Hazan is on staff at Mount Sinai Hospital, where he helps train dermatology residents, and at Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center. He has published many academic journal articles and authored multiple textbook chapters on various topics in the field of dermatology. Dr. Hazan is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and American College of Mohs Surgery. He is passionate about the management and treatment of skin cancers, as well as cosmetic treatments and general dermatologic conditions. He strives to provide personalized quality care to all of his patients.
