Dr. Sarah Yagerman is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs micrographic surgeon. She practices medical, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology in NYC and has a special interest in dermatologic oncology. A skilled, caring practitioner, she believes in an individualized and holistic approach to each patient and their skin. She enjoys all aspects of dermatology. A lifelong learner and educator, Dr. Yagerman is proud to return to NYU to serve as Voluntary Faculty, where she volunteers weekly with residents, teaching surgical skills and overseeing the clinic.

Dr. Ezra Hazan is a board certified dermatologist and fellowship trained Mohs surgeon. He graduated with honors from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Hazan went on to do an internship in internal medicine at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. He then completed his dermatology residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery and cosmetic dermatology at Mount Sinai Hospital. There he gained extensive knowledge and experience in procedural dermatology, including surgery of the skin as well as advanced cosmetic procedures like injectables, lasers and light based technologies.

He has published many academic journal articles and authored multiple textbook chapters on various topics in the field of dermatology. Dr. Rebeca Teplitz is a board-certified dermatologist specializing in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. She provides expert care for a diverse range of skin, hair, and nail conditions for patients of all ages.
Dr. Teplitz graduated magna cum laude from the George Washington University with a degree in cognitive neuroscience and a minor in business administration. She earned her medical degree from the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine. Sherry H. Hsiung, MD, is a board-certified dermatologic surgeon at the Skin Institute of New York (SINY®). Dr. Hsiung also practices general and cosmetic dermatology at SINY’s® three New York City–area offices, in the city’s West Village and in the Bay Ridge and Park Slope areas of Brooklyn, New York.
At the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Dr. Hsiung earned undergraduate degrees in both biology and chemical engineering, graduating with honors. While earning her medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania Medical School in Philadelphia, she was a member of the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She then completed her residency in dermatology at New York University School of Medicine in New York City, serving as chief resident.

Sydney Liang, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist and fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She has a special interest in the prevention and surgical management of skin cancers, the treatment of acne and acne scarring, rosacea, psoriasis, cosmetic injectables, and laser treatments and resurfacing.
With a strong educational background and rigorous training, Dr. Liang completed her undergraduate degrees in cell biology, genetics, and human development at the University of Maryland, earning early acceptance to the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society as a Junior and graduating with the highest honors of summa cum laude. Dr. Alexander Shraga is a Board-Certified Dermatologist who has been in practice since completing his residency training in 2003. He studied medicine at the highly-regarded Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland, earning his MD degree at one of the top medical schools in the country. He also earned a Master's in Public Health (MPH) from the Johns Hopkins University School of Public Health. He graduated from Hopkins with academic honors and was inducted into the Delta Omega honor society. Following medical school, he performed his Internship in Internal Medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine / Long Island Jewish Medical Center and completed his Residency in Dermatology at the New York Medical College program.
Dr. Shraga has received numerous awards and honors throughout his education and training. Lainey Ortiz, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant at Integrated Dermatology of NJ, located in Spotswood, NJ.
Mrs. Ortiz received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from The College of William and Mary and her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from LIU in Brooklyn, New York. She is a member of The American Academy of Physician Assistants and The Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
Mrs. Ortiz specializes in treating and educating patients about various skin conditions, including but not limited to acne, eczema, rosacea, fungal infections, skin cancer, and warts. Aton M. Holzer, MD, FAAD, FACMS, is a seasoned Mohs surgeon who is the Director of Mohs Surgery in the Department of Dermatology at Tel Aviv-Sourasky (Ichilov) Medical Center in Tel Aviv, Israel, a major academic hospital in the heart of a bustling metropolis, where he supervises a busy Mohs unit with three surgeons, residents and student rotators, and also serves as director of the American College of Mohs Surgery Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology (MSDO) fellowship program.
Dr. Holzer was born and raised in Queens, New York. He completed his undergraduate studies at Yeshiva University, graduating summa cum laude, and went on to complete a master's degree in modern Jewish history. He then attended medical school at Weill Medical College of Cornell University, where he graduated with an M.D. with Honors in Research, and where he was awarded the prestigious “Good Physician” award. Dr. Zambrano graduated with honors from Stony Brook University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a specialization in Developmental Genetics. She went on to complete both her Medical degree and Master of Public Health degree simultaneously at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Following medical school, she completed her Internship and Dermatology Residency at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital, where she served as a Chief Resident in her final year.
In her practice, Dr. Zambrano provides comprehensive care for conditions of the skin, hair, and nails, ranging from common dermatologic concerns to more complex disorders. She is extensively trained in cosmetic dermatology, including the use of neurotoxins, fillers, and lasers. With a strong belief in enhancing her patients’ natural beauty, she takes a thoughtful, minimalistic approach to aesthetics—tailoring treatment plans and skincare regimens to each individual’s unique needs and goals. Her philosophy centers on helping patients look and feel like the very best version of themselves.

She is passionate about educating her patients and empowering them to take part in their treatment journey. Her commitment to dermatology extends beyond the clinic—she stays current with the latest advances in the field to bring safe, effective, and innovative care to her community.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Zambrano enjoys spending time with her husband, their two young children, and their beloved Goldendoodle. She feels privileged to be serving the community where she grew up, and looks forward to providing high-quality dermatologic care to the families of Long Island for years to come.
