Bita Pour-Jafari, MD, ABAARM, is a board-certified family physician with years of experience, she provides comprehensive and patient-centered care at Texas Premier Physicians P.A. in Houston, Texas. 

Dr. Jafari earned her Doctor of Medicine from Hamadan University of Medical Sciences in 2004, completing her residency in family medicine at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Odessa, Texas. Originally from Boston Massachusetts, she was educated at first at Mass General Hospital, and later at Boston College. She worked as a Registered Nurse for many years in cardiothoracic nursing as well as brain injury and spinal cord rehabilitation. She relocated to Texas in 1997 and worked at The Texas Instituted for Rehabilitation and Research (TIRR) before returning to UTMB to continue her education. She graduated from UTMB as a Family Nurse Practitioner and has special interests in Women’s Health, Diabetes and Hypertension.
