Annie Chang, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant at Heights Dermatology in Houston.

She competed on UGA’s NCAA Equestrian team where she was named All-American four years, obtaining a National Championship and two SEC Championship titles. She earned her Master's in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Kentucky. Liza began her dermatology career in south Florida where she practiced general and surgical dermatology for 2 years before moving to Texas. She has since earned the title of Diplomate Fellow as a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.

Being a native Floridian, Liza recognizes the importance of skin care and prevention of sun-related ailments. She is passionate about patient education and preventative medicine. She is well versed in medical dermatology as well as surgical dermatology. In her free time, she enjoys riding horses, traveling, exercise, and spending time with family and friends

Francis Dang, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant at Heights Dermatology in Lake Jackson. She joined the team in 2020.  

Francis graduated from the University of Texas with a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences in Austin, Texas. She then attended the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, where she completed a dietetic internship in the Texas Medical Center and earned a Master in Public Health. Her master’s has a special focus on health promotion and behavioral sciences. 

She later returned to her hometown of Dallas, where she worked for six years as a registered dietitian for the UT Southwestern Solid Organ Transplant Program. During that time, her passion and interest for medicine grew, and she decided to pursue a new career as a physician assistant. In 2019, she completed a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Radford University in Roanoke, Virginia.

During her time as a registered dietitian, Francis cared for patients with a variety of medical conditions and learned the importance of patient-centered and preventative healthcare, all based on evidence-based medicine. She carried these values with her throughout her medical training and continues to uphold them as a physician assistant. Her interest and passion for dermatology came after experiencing the inner workings of a dermatology clinic during her clinical rotations. She is currently a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.

Zoe Apted, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant at Heights Dermatology in Houston. Joining the Heights Dermatology team in 2019, Zoe brings incredible expertise. 

She graduated Summa Cum Laude from St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas, with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. She previously practiced in obstetrics and gynecology before moving into dermatology, a field of special interest to her. Eva Hinojosa, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant at Heights Dermatology in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Eva was born and raised in Monterrey, Mexico, and moved to the Rio Grande Valley with her family at age 10. She graduated cum laude from St. Edwards University in Austin with a Bachelor’s in Biology in 2017. Eva received several academic scholarships throughout her academic career and maintained a position on the Dean’s List. After college, she spent her first postgraduate year working in the Emergency department and volunteering at rural clinics in Mexico and Peru. Eva then attained her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from The University of Texas at Rio Grande Valley. She is bilingual and motivated to help the Corpus Christi community in their skin needs. Eva’s interest in helping the community and passion for overall skin care is what drove her to pursue a field in dermatology; her interest was further motivated during her clinical rotations. Richard R. Andrews, MD, MPH, FASAM, is a board-certified addiction medicine physician and family medicine specialist with over three decades of experience in patient care, public health, and medical education. She worked as a Registered Nurse for many years in cardiothoracic nursing as well as brain injury and spinal cord rehabilitation. She relocated to Texas in 1997 and worked at The Texas Instituted for Rehabilitation and Research (TIRR) before returning to UTMB to continue her education. She graduated from UTMB as a Family Nurse Practitioner and has special interests in Women’s Health, Diabetes and Hypertension.
