Dr. Ker was born in Orrville, Ohio, and is a graduate of Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine (OUCOM). Dr. Ker is a member of the National Osteopathic Honor Society, which is an honor given to those showing a high degree of scholarship and service to their college and/or profession. Dr. Ker completed both her internship and residency in internal medicine at Botsford Hospital, located in Farmington Hills, Michigan. She then continued at Botsford Hospital to complete her nephrology subspecialty program and was named Chief Nephrology Fellow in her final year of training.
Currently, Dr. Ker is a member of the National Kidney Foundation (NKF), the American Society of Nephrology (ASN), and the American Osteopathic Association (AOA). Dr. Ker is the first physician in Hypertension Nephrology Associates, PC to be certified by The American Society of Diagnostic and Interventional Nephrology (ASDIN) in Hemodialysis Vascular Access Procedures.

Nadina earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Wayne State University. She then worked as a registered nurse for nearly 15 years, with two years in the NICU and over 12 years in labor and delivery. Dr. Kaki attended medical school at UNIBE (Universidad Iberoamericana) in the Dominican Republic. He completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine in Chattanooga.
During his education, Dr. Kaki chose to deepen his expertise in cardiovascular medicine. Included were fellowships at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in cardiology, where he was named a chief fellow, and at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City in coronary, endovascular, and carotid intervention.

Dr. Kaki served as a full-time faculty member at the University of Tennessee Department of Medicine. He was also an assistant professor of medicine in the Weill Cornell Medicine Greenberg Center in New York City. Today, Dr. Kaki takes pride in training the next generation of cardiologists as an assistant clinical professor of medicine at Wayne State School of Medicine.

Dr. Cherian graduated from the University of Louisville School of Medicine in Kentucky. He then performed his residency at the University of Louisville Hospital. Later, Dr. Cherian completed fellowships at the University of Utah in heart failure and cardiac transplant and at the State University of New York Upstate Medical University in general cardiology.
During his fellowships, Dr. Cherian specialized in heart failure management. After moving to Michigan, he focused his attention on patients struggling with heart failure. Today, Dr. Cherian works with patients to manage complex medication regimens. He also monitors patients' progress and keeps up-to-date on assessments of their heart function.

Interventional Cardiologist, Dr. Bassel Hassouna MD specializes in treating patients with Coronary Artery Disease, either through medications or through different kinds of procedures. Dr. Hassouna graduated from the American University of Beirut Medical School. After which he completed his residency and a fellowship in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology from the George Washington University Hospital in Washington D.C.
During his residency, Dr. Hassouna was inducted in the Alpha-Omega-Alpha honor medical society. He has been published in several journals and has given presentations in different medical meetings. After his fellowship, he practiced for four years in one of the major hospitals in Beirut where he was also the head of the Cardiology Department.
He is fluent in three languages (English, Arabic and French), which he hopes he will use in order to help him provide care to the highest number of patients possible.
