Connor is a board certified physician assistant. He understands the impact that improving musculoskeletal disorders can have on people’s lives. He attended the University of a Cincinnati where he graduated Magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences. He then went on to obtain his graduate degree from Ohio Dominican University. As a Columbus native, it is a privilege for him to help patients from his community.  When he is not treating patients, Connor can be found lifting weights, spending time with his family, or throwing a ball with his dog, Wally.

Matthew Root, DO, is the founder of Innovative Pain and Spine Center in Sherman Oaks neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. With dual board certification in physical medicine and rehabilitation, as well as pain medicine, Dr. Root takes an integrative approach that incorporates each patient’s personal goals. He specializes in electrodiagnostic studies to diagnose radiculopathies (pinched nerves) and neuropathies (damaged nerves). 

After graduating with honors with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut, Dr. Root obtained his medical degree at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California. Dr. Root has been recognized with numerous awards, including the Top Doctor award. He has published in nationally recognized medical journals in the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation and presented his research at national meetings, including the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the American Association of Neuromuscular & Electrodiagnostic Medicine. Dr. Nelson grew up in the Puget Sound area and was an honors and Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Washington. He went to medical school at the University of Southern California and completed his internship and residency in anesthesiology at USC-L.A. County Hospital Medical Center where he was elected chief resident. After residency, Dr. Nelson completed fellowship training in interventional pain medicine. He then started the Pain Management program at Desert Hospital in Palm Springs, California. 

After returning to the Pacific Northwest, Dr. Nelson joined the Evergreen Hospital medical staff and founded the Pain Medicine department there, as well as establishing one of the first full-spectrum independent pain medicine clinics in the area. He is a founding member and Director-at-Large of the Washington Society of Interventional Pain Physicians. Dr. Nelson is a guest lecturer at the University of Washington pain medicine fellowship program and has been actively involved in the teaching of pain fellows, medical students, and physician assistants.

Marinda Le is a board-certified and licensed PA. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from San Diego State University, where she served as an official student representative and studied abroad in the UK at the University of Leicester.

Before becoming a healthcare provider, Marinda gained valuable experience in primary care, urgent care, pediatrics, and cardiology. She completed her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies at Southern California University of Health Sciences and is an active member of the California Academy of Physician Assistants (CAPA). Leika-Marrie Rosete is a board-certified nurse practitioner in family medicine.  She received her Masters of Science in Nursing from Charles R. Drew University in Los Angeles, California graduating with honors.  She specializes in family medicine and pain management. She currently works as a Nurse Practitioner with Advance Pain Management in Lancaster, California working closely with Dr. Narinder Grewal.  She originally attended Excelsior College in Albany, New York where she received her associate’s degree in nursing. After graduating from her nursing degree she pursued working in the hospital as an ICU and ER nurse for several years before pursuing her bachelor’s degree in nursing with West Coast University, in Los Angeles California where she graduated with honors.  As an ICU nurse she mostly worked in specialty units involving cardiac and neuro patients and she also pursued her critical care registered nurse certification (CCRN) while she was an ICU RN. After working for more than 12 years as an ICU and ER nurse Leika decided to pursue her masters in nursing. 

Leika believes strongly in giving a holistic care approach to patient care and with the emerging health and mental issues she has seen with her patient’s she is currently pursuing her certification to be a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner. 

Leika also enjoys having work-life balance and in her off days she loves to travel to different destinations discovering new cultures, places and adventures. She is also passionate about photography and capturing the beauty of her travel destinations especially the landscapes and the different cultures. Edgar Celis, MD, is a double board-certified anesthesiologist and pain management physician, and the founder of the California Pain Group, located in San Rafael and Daly City, California. Dr. Celis has extensive experience in improving patient lives by using conservative, state-of-the-art techniques to treat a wide range of joint and spine disorders.

Dr. Celis completed a surgical internship at Mount Sinai Beth Israel hospital in New York City. He successfully received specializations in both pain management and anesthesiology from Harvard University Medical School, having completed his residency and fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston.

Before founding California Pain Group, Dr. Celis worked in private practice and with leading academic hospitals in Boston, New York City, and Miami. Michael Jadali, DO, RPh, FAAPMR, is a skilled pain management specialist at the Center for Pain & Rehabilitation Medicine in San Jose, California. Dr. Jadali has been at the forefront of minimally invasive pain management for several years.

Dr. Jadali is a doctor of osteopathic medicine and graduated from Des Moines University in Des Moines, Iowa. He completed his residency at the Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, in association with the University of Maryland Medical System, which runs an ACGME-accredited residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R). He was awarded the position of chief resident.

During his residency, Dr. Jadali organized one of the largest gatherings of internationally renowned PM&R and anesthesia pain management specialists on the East Coast and received the American Pain Society’s national scholarship award three times.
