Dylan Phillips, MD, is a double board-certified physician in anesthesiology and pain medicine practicing at International Spine Pain & Performance Center, which has offices in Washington, D.C., and Arlington, Virginia. He provides comprehensive interventional pain management care. 

Originally from Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, Dr. Phillips studied at Georgetown University, graduating cum laude with a degree in human science. He earned his medical degree from Wright State University, graduating in the top 10% of his class, and completed his anesthesiology residency at the University of Michigan, followed by fellowship training in chronic and interventional pain at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.

Dr. Paul Marsiglia grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and subsequently obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Illinois Wesleyan University. Dr. Warren was born in Kentucky and raised in the heartland of Columbus, Ohio. After residency, Dr. Warren practiced as an anesthesiologist for over 10 years. During this time, he held several key leadership positions, including Chair of Anesthesiology at Doctors Hospital of Michigan in Detroit, and served on the Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee at Town & Country Hospital in Tampa. He also completed the Baycare Physician Leadership Course while working at St Joseph’s Hospitals.

His commitment to duty has always been an important part of his life. He served for over 15 years in the US Army Reserve, both enlisted and as a medical officer, having served two tours of duty in Iraq.

After practicing anesthesia for over 10 years, Dr. Warren completed an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Interventional Pain Medicine at the University of South Florida. He is now board-certified in both pain medicine and anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiologists. In 2024, he joined the faculty of USF as an Assistant Professor for the USF Pain Fellowship program.

Dr. Bhandari’s goal is to help others be free of pain and improve their quality of life. She specializes in the effective use of minimally invasive techniques that don’t require large incisions, stitches, or surgery.

Dr. Bhandari started her medical career as part of an elite group of undergraduates who were selected into the joint BA/MD program at the prestigious Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Jersey. 

She pursued her residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at The Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. After completing her residency, Dr. Bhandari went on to pursue two fellowships in Interventional Pain and Electrodiagnostic Medicine under the supervision of several world-renowned physicians at Michigan State University. When not treating patients, Dr. Bhandari enjoys spending time with her husband and kids, traveling, cooking, gardening, painting, and rescuing dogs. When you see her, be sure to ask to see her current dog pics!

Joyce Kim, MD, is an experienced, board-certified anesthesiologist at The Woodlands Sports Medicine Centre in The Woodlands, Texas. She is dual board-certified in pain management and anesthesiology. Dr. Kim specializes in relieving back pain, neck pain, joint pain, headaches, abdominal and pelvic pain, and cancer-related pain.

Using a holistic approach, she emphasizes functionality and quality of life for patients suffering from chronic pain. Dr. Kim focuses on physical therapy, lifestyle modification, medication, and noninvasive or minimally invasive procedures. 

Dr. Kim was born in Madison, Wisconsin. She received her bachelor’s degree with honors from the University of Southern California (USC), where she was named renaissance scholar for achievement in separate fields of study. She attended medical school at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, where she also completed residency training in anesthesiology.

Dr. Kim continued training in interventional pain management at the University of Texas MD Anderson fellowship program in Houston, Texas. She maintains her advanced credentials with continuing education. Dr. Kim is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists and a diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology.

She warmly welcomes patients to The Woodlands Sports Medicine Centre and looks forward to offering them pain relief.

Demetrios Louis, MD, DABA, DABAPM, is a skilled pain management specialist at Innovative Pain Specialists in Arlington Heights and Libertyville, Illinois.

Dr. Louis is a lifelong Chicagoan who grew up on the North Shore of Chicago. He attended both Cornell University and Michigan State University, ultimately receiving an undergraduate degree in Physiology. Following graduation, he returned home to pursue advanced studies in Physiology and Biophysics at the University of Illinois. Thereupon, he received his medical degree at St. Matthew's University, where he graduated top of his class. After completing medical school, Dr. Louis returned back to Chicago and started his internship in General Surgery at Rush University Medical Center. At Rush, he was also involved in extensive research in General Surgery and Pain Medicine, helping create protocols for fast-tracking surgical patients in the postoperative period. Dr. Louis then completed a residency in Anesthesiology at Rush University Medical Center.

Subsequently, he left Chicago for Boston in order to complete a fellowship in Interventional Pain Medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital of Harvard University, one of the world's most prestigious pain medicine programs. Upon completing his fellowship, he spent one year in Boston at a teaching affiliate of Tufts University, where he practiced Interventional Pain Medicine and Anesthesiology. His ambition to provide comprehensive and quality care for his community motivated Dr. Louis to return back home to Chicago to start a practice in Interventional Pain Medicine with his friend and colleague Dr. Paul Marsiglia at Innovative Pain Specialists. Dr. Louis has considerable interest in all pain disorders converging and implementing the latest interventions and techniques to help treat patients with both acute and chronic pain. In addition, he serves on the medical staff of Northwest Community Hospital, where he is actively involved in treating patients with pain. He is double board-certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine.

Outside of work, Dr. Louis likes to spend his time watching Chicago sports, playing sports, traveling, cartography, and being with his family.

Over the years, Dr. Flanagan has learned a lot about nutrition and exercise in an effort to help patients. These have become hobbies and are a huge part of patient education in his practice.
