He also completed the Baycare Physician Leadership Course while working at St Joseph’s Hospitals.

His commitment to duty has always been an important part of his life. He served for over 15 years in the US Army Reserve, both enlisted and as a medical officer, having served two tours of duty in Iraq.

After practicing anesthesia for over 10 years, Dr. Warren completed an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Interventional Pain Medicine at the University of South Florida. He is now board-certified in both pain medicine and anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiologists. In 2024, he joined the faculty of USF as an Assistant Professor for the USF Pain Fellowship program. 

Dr. Warren treats a variety of pain conditions including neck and back pain, muscle pain, neuropathic pain, cancer pain, and many other types of pain. He accomplishes this by designing a personalized care plan for each patient that may include management of medications, and advanced minimally-invasive techniques such as nerve and joint injections, epidural steroid injections, ablation procedures, sacroiliac joint fusion, kyphoplasty, and implantable devices like spinal cord and peripheral nerve stimulators.

Dr. Warren remains dedicated to continuously improving the practice of pain medicine. As an Assistant Professor with the ACMGE-accredited USF Pain Fellowship, he helps to train the pain physicians of the future. He actively participates in several physician organizations, including the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, the American Society of Anesthesiologists, and the Hillsborough County Medical Association. He continues to attend regional and national pain society conferences, where he both studies and presents research on the latest innovations on Interventional Pain Medicine in order to bring these techniques back to his patients in South Florida.

D. David Ezeanolue, M.D., brings a wealth of experience to Apex Medical Center. With more than 25 years in practice, Dr. Ezeanolue has amassed many impressive skills that he uses to treat patients from in and around Las Vegas and Henderson, Nevada.

Dr. Ezeanolue began his education at the esteemed University of Nigeria College of Medicine where he was a medical and surgical graduate. He went on to do an internship at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, where he also completed his internship in internal medicine.

Additional experience came through his position as chief resident at the University of Rochester Medical Center in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. In addition to his formal medical training, Dr. Ezeanolue has embraced a lifetime love of learning and has taken numerous opportunities to enrich his understanding of a wide range of medical specialties.

He’s a proud diplomate of organizations such as the American Academy of Pain Management, the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the American Board of Internal Medicine, the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine, the American Board of Interventional Pain Physicians, and the American Board of Independent Medical Examiners.

Douglas Maxey, MD, is a board-certified anesthesiologist and pain management physician who has been practicing since 2013. At Allay Spine and Pain Management in McKinney, Texas, he provides compassionate, conscientious care to eliminate or reduce patients’ pain.

At Allay Spine and Pain Management, Dr. Maxey and the staff are committed to providing an exceptional experience. Dr. Maxey sees himself as a partner in improving each patient’s quality of life. He believes in fully investigating the cause of a patient’s pain and developing a personalized treatment plan according to their goals.

Dr. Maxey has expertise with several interventional procedures. He was one of the first physicians in Dallas–Fort Worth to be trained on dorsal root ganglion (DRG) stimulation. He is also one of the few providers in the area who employs advanced neuromodulation techniques like targeted drug delivery and peripheral nerve stimulation. Dr. Maxey has given numerous presentations and has been published in a peer-reviewed journal. 

Dr. Maxey is a member of the Texas Healthcare Advisory Council and the McKinney Chamber of Commerce, as well as the American Society of Anesthesiologists, American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, Spine Intervention Society, Texas Medical Association, and Texas Pain Society. Additionally, Dr. Maxey has mentored students aspiring to be health care professionals in the Frisco Independent School District.

When he isn’t working, Dr. Maxey enjoys spending time with his lovely wife and charming son. His home state is Colorado and he is an avid skier. His other interests are reading, traveling, swimming, and playing the guitar.
