Dr. Darling is board certified in General Psychiatry and Psychosomatic Medicine. After completion of her formal training, Dr. Darling received an appointment as an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the Yale School of Medicine. Dr. Darling currently holds admission privileges at both St. Mary's Medical Center and Delray Medical Center. Dr. Darling performs ECT at Delray Medical Center.
Dr. Darling earned her Medical Doctorate at the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville, FL. She then completed General Psychiatry residency training at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC. She completed her formal training at Yale School of Medicine with a fellowship in Psychosomatic Medicine (the treatment of mental illness in the medically ill). Dr. Darling also performs transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) at the West Palm Beach clinic.

I attended UMDNJ, New Jersey Medical School where I received my medical degree, completed residency training in General Psychiatry, and a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. After graduating, I decided to stay within the same organization working as one of the head psychiatrists for a Partial Hospitalization Program. Aside from treating adults and adolescents I also have experience working with young children who benefited from treatment within a Therapeutic Learning Center.
As I continued to expand my horizons within the field of Psychiatry, my family and I decided to relocate to the Sunshine state. Since my relocation, I have been working within the private sector with children, adolescents, and adult patients.
I favor an inclusive and collaborative approach. I believe in cautious prescribing based on evidence. I strive to provide good quality care that includes patients’ opinions and concerns.
I’ve always been interested in people and their individual stories. This curiosity coupled with my love of science made my career choice quite easy. I grew up between Cairo, Egypt and New York City. After completing medical school at Ain Shams University in Cairo, I moved to Chicago for my psychiatry residency program at Rosalind Franklin University which was a great launching pad for my career in Psychiatry.
I am a Board Certified adult psychiatrist with varied experiences in both inpatient and outpatient practice. I am especially interested in pharmacologically challenging cases and handling co-morbidities. I am comfortable with the geriatric population and love to provide supportive therapy as well since psychiatry should never only be about the prescription.
I have lived in Florida since 2009 and surrounding by a large extended family with whom I love to spend time and celebrate life.

I am a bilingual Nurse Practitioner who was born in New York and raised in south Florida. I knew from an early age that nursing was a passion of mine. I received my bachelor’s degree from Florida Atlantic University with Magna Cum Laude honors in 2015. I completed a Master’s of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner specialty, at Florida Atlantic University. I have worked in a variety of settings throughout my nursing career providing quality and evidence-based care to all my patients.
After working the frontline throughout the COVID pandemic and seeing firsthand the mental health crisis, I decided to pursue a career in psychiatry/mental health. I believe in fostering a safe, therapeutic environment where individual relationships can form and grow. I strive to provide personal care to my patients in order for them to achieve their optimal mental and physical health. Dr. Ventre completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Science from the University of Puerto Rico and continued his medical studies at San Juan Bautista School of Medicine in Caguas, Puerto Rico. He earned his medical degree from the Universidad Iberoamericana, Santo Domingo and completed residencies at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, Cabrini Medical Center for Internal Medicine and Psychiatry and completed his Psychiatry Residency at the University of Florida Psychiatry Program.
