Danielle Walters, APN, PMHNP-BC, is an advanced practice nurse specializing in child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry. She sees patients at Clarity Psychiatry Care in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.
Danielle earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The College of New Jersey, where she initially developed a passion for mental health after completing clinical training on an adult inpatient psychiatric unit and at a community mental health center.
Danielle has over 10 years of experience as a critical care nurse at a level one trauma center specializing in neurological and trauma intensive care. She obtained advanced certifications in critical care and trauma care, developing expertise in the treatment of medically complex and acutely ill patients.
Danielle completed her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Pennsylvania. She completed clinical training at a child/adolescent partial hospitalization program, on an adult inpatient psychiatric unit, and at an outpatient mental health clinic. Danielle became an ANCC board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner in August of 2022. She furthered her education by completing a post graduate APN nurse residency program.
Danielle’s experience as a psychiatric nurse practitioner includes conducting emergency/crisis psychiatric evaluations for patients of all ages who are at local emergency departments. She has also worked as a psychiatric consult liaison, providing psychiatric care to patients across the lifespan who are hospitalized with various medical conditions, including patients hospitalized for perinatal care. She has experience in treating patients with mood disorders, psychosis, trauma, and substance abuse.
With her extensive knowledge and experience, Danielle provides compassionate care to people facing mental health challenges. Danielle looks forward to continuing to support patients of all ages at Clarity Psychiatry Care.
Nina Patel, CRNP, is a certified psychiatric nurse practitioner at Alpine Psychiatry in King of Prussia (KOP), Pennsylvania. Nina takes pride in providing high-quality, personalized, and comprehensive care to all patients 12 years and up at the adult and child psychiatry practice. She offers both in-person and telemedicine appointments.
In 2019, Nina earned an Associate of Arts Degree in Nursing from Bucks County Community College in Newtown, Pennsylvania. Next, she received a Bachelor's in Nursing from Anderson University (AU) in Anderson, South Carolina, followed by her Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in 2021, which she also obtained at AU.
Before joining Alpine Psychiatry, Nina worked as a Charge Nurse at Horsham Clinic in Ambler, Pennsylvania.
As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, Nina’s goal is to provide culturally informed mental health care to complex acute and chronic psychiatric disorders while having the patient play an active part in decision-making.
She is a committed and diligent professional in developing individualized care plans, collecting and analyzing patient data, and facilitating treatment. She is a highly effective communicator who uses verbal and nonverbal communication techniques with patients, their families, and colleagues.
During her patients’ initial visits, Nina aims to build therapeutic relationships with each individual, including adolescents, adult clients, and families, when providing personalized treatment plans.
Nina is passionate about working with clients, helping them to identify their strengths, and assisting them in working towards their goals.
