About James Howell, NP
Jimmy Howell MSN, PMHNP-BC, CPNP-PC, is a dually certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Jimmy is excited to be offering mental health services to children across Virginia, and in person in Charlottesville. He is a four time graduate from the University of Virginia. He received his training from the University of Virginia School of Nursing, which is ranked in the top 3% for nursing schools in the USA. Jimmy has 7+ years of experience working as a mental health professional.
Jimmy was also a D1 athlete for the Virginia Cavaliers, where physical fitness was always a priority. His hope is that he can bring awareness and services that make MENTAL FITNESS just as important as the physical side.
