Our Telehealth services include medication and psychotherapies such as Cognitive, Behavioral, Supportive and Existential. Tamara Goodman, MD, is one of the exceptional neurologists practicing at Complete Neurological care, which has locations in Forest Hills and Queens, and the Financial District, Midtown, and in Manhattan, plus Valley Stream and Hicksville, New York. She is board-certified in neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. 

After obtaining her medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine, she completed a medical internship at Flushing Hospital Medical Center and subsequently pursued her residency in neurology at the Northwell North Shore University Hospital- Zucker School of Medicine affiliated with Hofstra University. She continued at North Shore Hospital for a Fellowship in epilepsy and electroencephalography (EEG).

Dr. Goodman holds certifications in Botox® therapy for various conditions, including chronic migraine, cervical dystonia, and TMJ dysfunction. She speaks English and Russian, which makes her accessible to patients from a variety of cultural backgrounds. Samuel Apeatu, MD, is a skilled, board-certified neurologist practicing at Complete Neurological Care. Dr. Apeatu obtained his medical degree from the University of Ghana Medical School in West Africa. He completed his pediatric residency training at New York Medical College, Lincoln Hospital Affiliation. He then completed his pediatric neurology fellowship at Schneider Children’s Hospital Long Island Campus for the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Apeatu was also a fellow at Long Island Jewish Medical Center for epilepsy and electroencephalography. Dr. Samuel Apeatu is a published and board-certified pediatric neurologist from the American Board of Pediatrics. Additionally, he is an active member of the American Academy of Neurology, the Child Neurology Society, and the American Medical Association.

Dr. Ellen Edgar is the president of Complete Neurological Care, P.C. in New York and Florida. She is an American Board Certified Neurologist who holds double board certification from The American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) and The American Board of Clinical Neurophysiology (ABCN).

She completed her Pediatrics residency at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, NY and Neurology training at State University of New York after which she enrolled into a highly competitive combined neurological fellowship in Epilepsy and Clinical Neurophysiology (NCS/EMG/EP/EEG) at Columbia University New York-Presbyterian Hospital, NYC, one of the best Comprehensive Epilepsy Centers in the country.

Dr. Ilic has co-authored research papers and medical reviews in the areas of Pediatric Neurology, Epilepsy, and Neurophysiology. She provides general and specialized care to children and adults with conditions related to the brain and nervous system.

Dr. Micic specializes in neurology and pediatric neurology. She earned her medical degree from the University of Nis Faculty of Medicine, serving multiple locations across NY. Dr. Micic completed an internship at Clinical Center Nis in Serbia after obtaining her medical degree. Later, she also completed her fellowships in child neurology, one at the University of Belgrade, Serbia, one at the State University of New York, Stony Brook and another at the Baylor College of Medicine, Texas Children’s Hospital. Highly qualified, she also completed her residency in pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital of New Jersey at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. Dr.

Dr. Vikas Shetty obtained his medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, D.C.. He subsequently completed a medical internship at Northwell Health- North Shore- Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New Hyde Park, New York. Dr. Shetty then completed his neurology residency at the same institution, where he gained extensive experience in managing a wide range of neurological conditions. 

He was later awarded a fellowship in epilepsy at Northwell Health, focusing on advanced epilepsy care, including interpreting complex EEGs and managing refractory epilepsy cases. Dr. Shetty is board-certified in neurology and epilepsy by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. His professional interests include epilepsy management and clinical neurophysiology.

Fahimir Jean-Baptiste, DNP, PMHNP-BC, is an ANCC board-certified Psychiatrist Mental Nurse Practitioner. Fahimir has a Master of Science in Nursing from Hofstra University School and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Molloy College. Her clinical career took her through the healthcare system, from inpatient to outpatient settings. She manages and treats a wide range of mental health concerns including Major depressive disorder, anxiety disorders, and ADHD. Fahimir provides psychiatric evaluations and medication management with special attention to individual needs, including attention to each patient's personal history, his or her specific context, stressful or traumatic life experiences or circumstances, each patient's particular concerns about, or fears of medications, all of which she approaches with patience, warmth, understanding, and helpful explanations that facilitate treatment and the patient's sense of comfort and trust.

Michael Gentile, MD, is an experienced psychiatrist in Wyckoff, New Jersey. He runs his private practice at Wyckoff Wellness Center.

Dr. Gentile currently serves on the Member Medical Advisory Board at Breakwater Treatment and Wellness in Cranbury, New Jersey. He is also a member of the American Society of Ketamine Physicians, and a member of the Society of Cannabis Clinicians.

Dr. Gentile has been running his private practice at the Wyckoff Wellness Center for over 23 years and has made himself available for consultations, expert opinions, and litigation support in all of the psychiatry areas.

Dr. Caroline Bjorkman is a Board Certified Psychiatrist who provides treatment for a variety of mental health conditions including mood, anxiety disorders, OCD, PTSD and other psychiatric conditions. She uses an individualized and holistic approach providing medication management as well as psychotherapy to improve overall functioning and quality of life. Dr. Bjorkman completed medical school at New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine and residency at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Morningside/ West. She is on the young professional board of the National Alliance on Mental Illness NYC and works with ASICS as a Mental Health Ambassador.

My philosophy is an integrative approach in treating the whole person -- including the biological, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual factors. I emphasize education so you feel empowered and understand why medication may be necessary, what the medication is, and why you are taking it. While medications are an important part of treatment, they are often times not the long-term solution. We can carefully weigh the potential benefits and risks to find the best option for you. My primary goal is to make sure that I provide the best care to my patients. In some cases, the limitations of outpatient treatment do not allow the ability to provide the level of care that I think you deserve. I can provide feedback, temporary services, and assistance with referral options.

As a double board-certified practitioner in medicine and psychiatry, I am acutely aware of the impact of mental health on overall wellbeing. I leverage my background in critical care, preventative care, surgery and psychiatry to provide an evidence-based and results-oriented holistic approach catered to each individual. My specialties include, but are not limited to treating and managing ADD/ADHD, anxiety, depression, PTSD, mood disorders, stress management, adjustment disorders, and OCD. I combine medication management sessions with individual psychotherapy to achieve optimal results in a culturally sensitive and emotionally safe space for the client. My treatment plans are developed in conjunction with the client to provide focused care aimed at encouraging personal growth and development. By working together, we will concentrate on improving somatic symptoms, unhealthy behaviors and emotional imbalances to correct and enhance quality of life and instill positive thinking.
