Katie believes that building rapport is the foundation to effective treatment. She believes that brain health is influenced by environmental factors, socioeconomics and genetics and takes the approach of integrating all aspects to assist in developing an individualized treatment plan. Katie has worked over a decade in brain health services beginning as a nurse and then advancing her degree. Her background includes working in adult residential care facilities, assertive community treatment teams, and outpatient community mental health centers.
